DIY Spring Flower Nails
I absolutely love painting my nails at home, but switching up the look of my nails is a definite must. Cute nails can really let your personality shine through and what better way to show your excitement for the Spring weather to come, than to paint your nails bright and pretty with some cute flowers? This easy DIY will show you how to create this adorable nail look at home using only a few simple tools.
Let’s Get Started!
Step 1: Paint Nails with Base Coat. I’m using Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in 620 Limestone.
Step 2: Using a toothpick or wooden cuticle pusher, carefully draw on 6 large dots with pink acrylic paint to form your flower petals. I’m using the shade bright magenta.
Step 3: Using white acrylic paint, draw a large dot to form the center of your flower. Using the tip of a bobby pin or toothpick draw on pink polka dots on the other nails not painted with flowers.
Apply a clear coat over your nails for protection, and you have bright, beautiful nails ready for spring! 😉
What can I say, I love polka dots!
I seriously love how the lime green, magenta, and white colors look together and I think it really makes my nails pop! Hope you enjoyed today’s tutorial and I hope that you will give this DIY a try!
Are you ready for Spring? 🙂 -Cara
