Hey everyone! Today’s Halloween makeup look is probably one of my favorite female cartoon characters of all time – Minnie Mouse!
She’s just such a cute and sweet character, and this look is such a simple, cute, and fun Halloween makeup look – and a great last minute Halloween costume idea!
For today’s post I’m sharing how to create this Easy Minnie Mouse Makeup look featuring a black smokey eye and bold red lip, as well as how to create a DIY Minnie Mouse Halloween Costume using items from your closet and affordable products you can find on Amazon and have shipped to you quick.

Minnie Mouse Makeup Halloween Tutorial
This Minnie Mouse Makeup features an easy, yet dramatic black smokey eye, pink cheeks and whiskers, a black mouse nose, and beautiful, bright red lipstick!

How to Create Easy Minnie Mouse Makeup for Halloween
Minnie Mouse Makeup Step 1:
Create a Smokey Eye
As Minnie Mouse has bright and dramatic features, one of the main focal points of this Minnie Mouse makeup look is the eyes.
To achieve this smokey eye look I love using my favorite everyday eyeshadow palette – Tartelette in Bloom Palette. (check out my full review w/ swatches over here)
Start by applying a light brown shade in the crease of the eyes to add some warmth, and use windshield wiper motions to blend.
Next apply a black shade on the lid and smoke out using circular windshield wiper motions.
Add a deep black shade to the outer v of the eye and use a brush to blend.
Lastly, apply a black and purple glitter shade on top of the lid to add some sparkle, and some glitter liquid eyeshadow to the inner tear duct area of the eyes.
To finish up the look, apply a thin black winged liner on both eyelids, black liner to the inner bottom rim, and a few coats of black mascara to the lashes.
Minnie Mouse Makeup Step 2:
Brighten the Face + Add Color
Next, apply foundation all over the face using a makeup brush, and concealer under the eyes, nose, chin, and forehead area to brighten things up.
Next, warm up the face with some bronzer and apply to the cheekbones, forehead, and nose.
After that, use a bright pink blush like this and apply liberally to the apples of the cheeks.
This helps give it that authentic cartoon, mouse-like look.
Minnie Mouse Makeup Step 3:
Apply Mouse Details
This Minnie Mouse makeup look wouldn’t be complete with an adorable black mouse nose and whiskers!
Using black face paint or black eyeliner, add a small circle to the end of the nose and fill it in with black.
Once filled in, apply a tiny bit of white liquid eyeliner on one side of the circle to make it look more real.
Using that same black face paint, apply three, thin whiskers on each side of the nose.
Minnie Mouse Makeup Step 4:
Finish With Red Lipstick
To finish this Minnie Mouse makeup look off right, apply some bright, red lipstick to the lips.

This not only adds a fun pop of color, but matches perfectly with the rest of your red polka dot costume details.
DIY Minnie Mouse Halloween Costume
Now that we’ve completed the Minnie Mouse makeup look, it’s time to get dressed in your adorable Minnie Mouse costume!
Instead of buying an expensive costume I would have probably only worn once, I decided to DIY my own Minnie Mouse Costume using items I already had in my closet and adding in fun accessories to complete the look.
The main items you need are a black top, this adorable polka dot skirt (that’s less than $12!), black tights, black heels, white gloves, and of course the iconic Minnie Mouse ears!
This Minnie Mouse Halloween Costume was super easy to throw together and I love that the red polka dot skirt can easily be worn throughout the year.
