Try this Easy Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta for an easy dinner this week! It features a delicious and creamy homemade alfredo sauce, tender pasta noodles, and spicy Cajun seasoned chicken that takes only 15 minutes to make!

Ingredients

Scale

Cajun Chicken & Pasta

  • 8 ounces farfalle bowtie pasta (or pasta of choice)
  • (2) 8 ounce bags Oven Roasted Chicken (or 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, cooked and diced)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp Cajun seasoning

Homemade Alfredo Sauce

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed (I used 1/3 fat)
  • 1 cup milk (I used 2%)
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated parmesan
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • In a large saucepan, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Once cooked, drain pasta, rinse with cold water, and set aside until ready to combine.
  • While pasta is cooking, add the Oven Roasted Diced Chicken to a large skillet and season with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Cook over medium/high heat for 2-3 minutes to sizzle and stir until chicken is evenly coated with seasonings.
  • Next, slowly pour in the milk with a glass measuring cup and add in the softened, cubed cream cheese. Stir for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is creamy, smooth, and all of the cream cheese has melted.
  • Add in salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning and stir until evenly combined. Add in the grated parmesan and stir until combined.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the drained farfalle noodles. If desired, top with more Italian seasoning or parsley and enjoy!
