Instructions

  1. First grab 25 Nutter Butter cookies and place them in a large ziploc bag. Place the sealed bag on a cutting board and use a kitchen mallet to crush the cookies. 
  2. Next microwave and melt 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large glass mixing bowl. Pour in the crushed nutter butter cookies and stir until combined
  3. Next spray a glass pie dish with non-stick cooking spray. Add the crushed cookie crumbs to the pan and spread evenly.
  4. Next use the back of a measuring cup to press the cookie crumbs into the pan. Use a fork to press the crumbs up onto the side. Set aside and begin preparing your pie filling. 
  5. In a large mixing bowl add an 8 ounce block of softened, cream cheese. Next add in ½ cup of creamy peanut butter. Use an electric hand mixer and begin mixing the two ingredients together. It will be thick but just keep mixing. 
  6. Next add in 8 ounces of cool whip and ½ cup of powdered sugar.Use an electric hand mixer and mix together until creamy and smooth.
  7. Pour the filling on top of the prepared crust and use a spatula to smooth it evenly in the pan
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours before cutting. 
  9. If desired, garnish the top with mini nutter butters or crushed nutter butters before serving. Hope you enjoy!
