These Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins are delicious and less than 200 calories each. They’re made with simple ingredients including bananas, whole wheat flour, honey, nonfat greek yogurt, and chocolate chips, and will give you plenty of energy to fuel your day!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a mixing bowl, blend banana, honey, vanilla, oil, egg, milk, and yogurt on high for 1 minute
  3. Slowly incorporate dry ingredients until just combined. Do not overmix!
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and scoop out batter evenly into muffin tins that have been lightly sprayed with non stick cooking oil
  5. Sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top, if desired. Bake 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let banana chocolate chip muffins cool for 5 minutes in tray before transferring to wire rack for 5 more minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover banana muffins in an airtight container. Muffins may also be frozen in a ziplock bag for up to 3 months.
