I’m Cara, police wife, boy mom of two, full-time food blogger, and Christian writer on a mission to spread kindness and the hope of Jesus in every season.
Established in 2015, Kindly Unspoken is a food and Christian lifestyle blog featuring homemade recipes, faith, and encouragement for women.
About Cara
- I’m 35 and live in Kentucky with my husband and two sons.
- I’m a proud Christian and love sharing my faith in Jesus Christ.
- I hold a Master’s Degree in Managerial Communications & Marketing and have always been super creative.
- I’m currently writing my first book and can’t wait to share it!

About Kindly Unspoken
Kindly Unspoken is a food and Christian lifestyle blog with weekly homemade recipes and faith & encouragement for women.
I’ve been blogging since November 2015, blogging full-time since 2017, and I absolutely love my job.
Prior to 2023 I published mostly beauty and fashion content, but as time passed I felt God calling me to re-shift my focus to food and faith blogging.
Cara’s Recipes
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved to bake and loved spending time in the kitchen with my Mom and Mamaw.
Now that I’m a Mom I love passing down the tradition to my boys and we love to cook together.
This passion led me to launch my YouTube Channel Cara’s Recipes in 2021, where you will find weekly step-by-step video tutorials of all my favorite family recipes.
Faith & Encouragement
Another passion of mine has always been encouraging others in their faith and shining light in this dark world.
As Psalms 119:105 says, “God’s word is a lamp for our feet and light for our paths.”
My mission is to spread kindness and equip others with the biblical truth of God’s word.
I love to share uplifting scripture and printable bible verses that remind us who we are in Christ. Check out some of my favorites over here.
