April Favorites Kindly Unspoken

It’s Friday, Friday, Gotta Get Down On Friday! Haha-Sorry if you now have that horrible Rebecca Black song permanently stuck in your head all day, but hey at least it’s Friday! šŸ™‚ Can’t believe another month has already come and gone, but definitely enjoying the pretty weather here lately.

My plans for the weekend include organizing and pricing items for my huge garage sale next weekend. I’m excited to get rid of a lot of items that have just been cluttering up our home and to have less “stuff” to worry with. What are your plans for the weekend?

Here’s My 5 Beauty Favorites this month!

April Beauty Favorites- Kindly Unspoken

Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color in Pomegranate Pie, $4.99 Walgreens

Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color

Talk about a gorgeous pink color- this matte liquid lip cream is such a bright, vibrant shade and has the most amazing staying power. Once applied to the lips, it only takes a few seconds for the product to dry on the lips into a beautiful matte format, yet it doesn’t dry your lips out like some matte liquid creams do. This product gets a definite thumbs up in my book!

Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color

Hard Candy Velvet Mousse Matte Lip Color in Sweet Pea, $6.00 Wal-mart

Hard Candy Velvet Mousse Lip Color

I was originally drawn to this product simply because the packaging is gorgeous! It comes in a cute floral tin, and when you open up the inside, it has a mirror and a velvet slot for the product itself. I can see this being really handy for traveling and carrying in your purse. Also, the shade is such a pretty pink color for Spring. I’m thinking this would make a great gift for a makeup lover! šŸ™‚

Kenra Platinum Advance-Dry Thermal Protectant Blow-Dry Spray , $22.00 Ulta

Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray

When my hairstylist told me that this product would significantly speed up my hair’s drying time, I was really intrigued to try it out because with thick hair it takes me forever to dry my hair with a blow-dryer.

I’m happy to report that this product really does work and I can’t get enough of it! I spritz this on my freshly washed hair and not only does it speed up the drying time, but it serves as a great heat protectant, and smells amazing! It’s almost like a vanilla cupcake scent- which is heaven in my opinion. It is a little pricey, but it lasts forever and is a life-changer if you have thick hair.

Milk Shake Incredible Milk 12 Effects Leave In Treatment, $17.22 Amazon

Milk Shake Incredible Milk 12 Effects Leave in Treatment

Speaking of hair products that smell amazing, Milk Shake’s 12 Effects Leave in Treatment is the one hair product that I can’t live without. The name says it all- it smells like a milk shake, which is incredible, and one little pump in the hands goes a long way.

I spray this in my hair after washing it, and run it through my hair starting at the tips and working my way up to the roots. It does a great job of conditioning the hair and I even will use it sometimes to tame flyaways on my dry hair. Just an all-around amazing product worth adding to your collection.

Garnier Fructis Style Deconstructed Beach Chic Texturizing Spray with Black Fig, $2.96 Wal-mart

Garnier Fructis Style De-Constructed Beach Chic Texturizing Spray

Last but not least is one of my favorite hair products to use when I want beachy waves in my hair. This texturizing spray works amazing at adding volume and texture to the hair and I love the way it makes my hair look all mermaid-esque when using it.

Also, the fact that it’s under 3 bucks is incredible. Be on the lookout for a full beach waves hair tutorial on the blog soon. šŸ˜‰

I love both of those shades of lip gloss, and the one that comes in the little tin is such a perfect gift! I’ll have to ask my stylist if that Kenra product would be good for my hair. I have naturally curly hair that I blow out 80% of the time, so I wonder if it would help my drying time too! And cupcake scented? You know I’m in!
