Happy Tuesday, friends! Today I’m excited to be getting back into the world of makeup reviews and today’s makeup collection from Avon is 110% swoon-worthy. Today I’m sharing the new 2018 Avon Iconic Once Upon A Holiday Makeup Collection and it’s a classic Christmas collection you can’t help but love.

Avon Iconic Once Upon A Holiday Makeup Collection

For me, Avon is that one beauty brand that totally takes me back to my childhood and reminds me of so many special memories I made with my Mom. I always used to love looking through my Mom’s Avon catalogs and swooning over all the makeup products, and can remember going to Avon makeup parties and being pampered with fun makeovers.

And to me that’s the entire essence of the Avon Iconic Once Upon a Holiday Makeup Collection. The fun packaging reminds us of all the iconic beauty trends from the past and classic Christmas traditions. I honestly think so many of these makeup products would be great Christmas gifts to buy for your Mom or Grandma (or yourself).

First up in the collection (and my personal favorite) are the Iconic Avon Lipsticks. These just might be the most gorgeous lipsticks I’ve ever laid my eyes on and I seriously can’t get over the packaging. I truly think every makeup brand out there needs to get on board with this lipstick packaging because the gold and printed packaging is stunning!

Not only that but the actual lipstick colors are super pretty and are so rich and pigmented. My personal favorites from the bunch is Holly Red and Sugar Plum, both which would make great lipstick choices for Christmas parties. Did I mention they’re less than $7 each?! 🙂

Next up in the collection is the Iconic Avon Beauty Classics Collection. This fun set looks like a book collection but is actually two gorgeous eyeshadow palettes and a cheek palette. The eyeshadow palettes are great, compact-sized palettes and feature 12 pretty shades of each color tone.

I’ve never seen packaging like this before in a beauty collection and I think it’s so incredibly clever and cute. On the back of the book collection you can even read about Avon’s history.

Eyes of Golden Wonder Shadow Palette Volume 1

The Eyes of Golden Wonder Shadow Palette is just as the name sounds and features warm gold and brown shades, perfect for creating sparkly gold holiday eye makeup looks.

As someone who adores browns and golds, this palette is a total fave and I love the fact that these shadows are shimmers. As you can see from the swatches below the pigmentation is also really nice – especially on the mid-toned golds. 

She Dreams of Silver Shadow Palette Volume II

The She Dreams of Silver palette is another gorgeous eyeshadow palette and is great for creating beautiful cool toned looks. With beautiful shades of silver, purple, navy, and champagne, you could easily create a nice smokey eye. 

I actually found these shades to be even more pigmented than the other eyeshadow palette and really liked the variety of shades included.  

In the Blush of Dawn Cheek Palette Volume III

Last but not least in the collection is the In the Blush of Dawn Cheek Palette. This palette has 4 pretty blushes to help brighten up the face and add the perfect pop of color.

This is actually my favorite palette in the collection simply because the colors are so pretty! Pinks and peaches are always a great color choice for all skin tones and these are great shades for year-round. 

     

Iconic Avon Beauty Palette 

This gorgeous vintage-inspired palette comes in a faux-tortoiseshell case and includes 4 beautiful shimmery eyeshadows and 2 blushes. The pigmentation is nice on these shadows and I really love the peach-toned blush shades especially.

The only thing I would mention about this palette is that unless you were creating a one shadow look, you would definitely have to use other products alongside it. Not a big deal for me, but if that’s something that bothers you, this might not be the palette for you.  

Like all the other items in the Avon Iconic Makeup Collection, this beauty palette comes in a super cute vintage, christmas-themed gift box.

This is the one item in the Avon Iconic Once Upon a Holiday Makeup Collection that definitely takes me back to my childhood because who didn’t love trying out all these lipstick samples when they were little?!

This set includes a total of 60 lipsticks and I know it would definitely make any lipstick lover like myself happy! Plus, the little tin is absolutely adorable and would make a great keepsake. 

Iconic Avon Mirror (includes satin pouch)

Last but not least if you need a one of a kind stocking stuffer idea, look no further. This black and gold Iconic Avon mirror features a beautiful bow with crystals and comes in a beautiful satin pouch. The mirror itself is great for putting in your purse or car and has 1x and 3x magnification. I mean truly isn’t this mirror the cutest?!
