Best Bikini Ready At-Home Workouts

Best Bikini Ready At-Home Workouts

When the cold weather months hit it can be easy to want to hibernate for the winter, but don’t let the cold keep you from reaching your fitness goals. The winter months are the perfect time to start working on getting that body ready for the summer months ahead, and ready to wear all the cute little dresses, tanks, and bikinis.

Today I’m sharing with you some of the best at-home, bikini ready, workout videos that will definitely get your heart pumping and are sure to get your arms, legs, and stomach perfectly toned for all those cute outfits you’ll be wearing this summer.

The Ultimate 30-Minute Cardio Pilates Workout

You will definitely feel the burn from doing this incredible full-body workout. While the term “pulsing” will have you ready to scream, and you might be sore for the first couple of days, don’t give up! Remember, the true magic happens when you step outside of your comfort zone.

Total Body Fat Burning Workout

Much like the previous workout, this one will not leave you disappointed. Not only is this a great cardio workout, but with the addition of light hand-weights, your muscles will quickly build up strength after doing this workout for a few weeks. This one is pretty challenging, so I would recommend starting out with the modifications, if you are new to working out.

30 Minute At Home Abs & HIIT Cardio for Fat Loss

I chose to include this workout in the list, because it provides a great mix of HIIT (high intensity interval training) training as well as several core strengthening exercises. I personally love all the Fitness Blender workouts because they always provide a calorie burning estimate, which is really motivating. While this workout is a little longer than the others, it really focuses on providing toning exercises that will help get your body summer ready.

Butt Lifting Workout That’s Better than Spanx

The phrase “burn baby burn” is so fitting for this workout. Once again, PopSugar Fitness works in the power of “pulsing” in this intense lower body workout. Although this workout is only 10 minutes long, if you add this one to your fitness regimen, you’ll be sure and reach your booty goals in no time. 😉

The Ultimate Ab Workout for Your Skimpiest Bikini

Last but not least, if you really want a challenging ab workout, look no further. This workout cleverly uses a towel to work your abs and legs, and will have your stomach muscles screaming by the time you’ve reached the end. I personally love the bicycle crunches in this one, and this is one of my all-time favorite ab workout videos.

Tips for Best Results

For best results, I recommend working out to one of the 20 or 30 minute videos 4-5 times a week, making sure you allow yourself 1-2 days of rest. Once you get a good routine going, you can also supplement your workout a few days a week with the ab workout and lower body workout, alternating between the two. Make sure you always cool-down and stretch well after each workout in order to prevent injury and be aware of your physical limits.

Of course, working out is only half of the battle, and you must pair it with a healthy diet in order to see changes. The phrase, “abs are made in the kitchen” is definitely true, and it is important to be mindful of the types of foods you are putting in your body. Also, be sure and up the H2O intake and focus on staying hydrated when working out.

I hope you’ll give some of these workouts a try, and I hope they are helpful in helping you meet your fitness goals. What other workouts/exercises do you recommend?

Have a Great Wednesday and Thanks for Stopping By!-Cara

Girl, don’t even sweat it. That baby needs the extra lbs, and you won’t have any problem getting the weight off. Where I’m on the petite side I gained almost 60 lbs with both pregnancies and I had no difficulties losing the weight. But these workouts are definitely burners, for sure 🙂

So, I just bought myself a really cute bikini and I’m feeling really motivated to start working out so I can wear it with confidence! But, the knee replacement of mine makes it hard for me to do any exercises that are heavy on the knees; do you have any recommendations?

Check out Fitness Blender’s youtube channel- they have all kinds of workouts for all levels and they typically always provide modifications for those with injuries or physical limitations. You should still be able to do a lot of the floor exercises in these videos as well that will still work out your entire body. Hope that helps! 🙂
