Easy Braided Headband Tutorial
Hey everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I myself had a relaxing one spending time with my boys. Saturday we had a picnic in our living room floor for lunch (it’s a little too cold for comfort outside right now), and we watched Lilo and Stitch for the 970th time. Sunday we went to church and afterwards went shopping for a bit to try to finish up our Christmas shopping. All in all, it was a great weekend, and I’m sad that it ended so quickly.
Easy Braided Headband Tutorial
I don’t know about you, but I like mixing it up with different hair styles. This braided headband look is a quick, easy, yet very cute style that could easily be worn for an everyday casual look, or dressed up by curling your hair. The only supplies needed for this hairstyle is two small, clear rubber bands, two bobby pins, and a brush or comb. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Brush or comb your hair smooth, ensuring that all tangles in the hair are removed.
Step 2: Starting on one side of your head, section off a 1-inch strand towards the middle part of your head. The hair you section off for braiding should be directly behind your ears, and you want to make sure you leave some hair in the front. Hold the strand upwards and begin braiding it towards the opposite side.
Step 3: Once you have reached the end of the strand, tie it with a clear rubber band.
Step 4: Secure it behind your ears with a bobby pin.
Step 5: Now you are going to repeat Step 2 on the opposite side of your head, except this time the section of hair to be braided needs to be directly in front of the area you just braided on the other side. (Thus creating a headband). Once the hair has been fully braided, tie it with a clear rubber band.
Step 6: Now secure this side behind your ears with a bobby pin.
Step 7: Bring forward the rest of your hair for your finished look.
Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy hair tutorial. Leave me a comment if you have any questions and let me know what you think!
