As a former high school cheerleader and avid football fan, the fall season is always such a fun time. There’s nothing I love more than spending my weekend watching football with family and friends while snacking on delicious treats. (My personal favorite football snack is SNICKERS® bars!) While everyone in my house has their own unique, pre-game rituals, looking game day ready is a must for me. I mean any excuse to look cute, right?

One of my absolute favorite, go-to looks for game day is this super adorable and easy scarf headband look. It literally can be created in less than 5 minutes and is the perfect look to show off your team spirit! This look offers versatility with the option to wear up or down, and can be personalized to your favorite team’s colors. For this tutorial, I chose a pretty blue paisley print.

Game Day Scarf Hair Tutorial Supplies:
  • Fine Tooth Comb
  • 60 Inch Silk or Cloth Scarf
  • Elastic Hair Band (optional for up-do look)

Easy Game Day Scarf Hair Tutorial

Step 1: Fold your scarf over three times long ways to create a 1 1/2 inch wide section. Place the scarf behind the center of your neck, letting the ends hang forward on both sides.

Step 2: Using a comb, tuck both sides of the hair behind the ears. Bring up the ends of the scarf overlapping one another to form an “x”. Cross the ends over each other again and tighten.

Step 3: Bring both scarf ends down and tightly tie the ends behind the neck.

Optional Style: Pull hair up into a high ponytail and secure with an elastic hair band for a cute, casual look.

Now that you look game day ready, there’s only one other thing you’ll need- the perfect snack! Thankfully, your local CVS has all your game day snacking needs including one of my favorites- SNICKERS®!

I’m personally always reaching in the candy bowl for SNICKERS® and right now the packaging is football themed which is so cute! I especially love the “Tackled” one below! I’m also sort of obsessed with the new SNICKERS® Crisper bars too, which are so yummy! Both are delicious and perfect for game day munching.

Looking for more fun game day ideas? Head over here! Don’t forget to print your coupon here for extra savings on football themed SNICKERS® at your local CVS store.

I hope you’ll give this super easy and fun game day hairstyle a try! Let me know what you think of this tutorial in the comments, and give it a pin if you love it!

What’s your favorite looks for game day? Do you enjoy snacking on SNICKERS® as much as I do?
