Elf Palette Review + Swatches

e.l.f. all about nude eyeshadow palette review

Hey Everyone! Today I’m reviewing the E.l.f. “All About Nude” 32 Color Eyeshadow Palette. I purchased this at Target for $10 and the palette includes the 32 piece eyeshadow set, 1 eyelid primer, 1 eyeshadow brush, and 1 eyeliner brush.

I was intrigued by this specific palette because several of the colors are similar to shades in the Urban Decay Vice 4 Palette (below). Considering the e.l.f. palette is only $10 compared to the Urban Decay Palette, which is $60, I thought I would try it out.

E.l.f. All About Nude Palette Review

The e.l.f “all about nude” eyeshadow palette consists of mostly shimmer shadows with a few matte shades including beige, black, brown, and gray.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the pigmentation of the shadows and I like that this set included such a variety of shades, including both neutral colors and vibrant colors such as fuchsia, copper, blue, and green.

I do have to mention that there were a couple of shades that even after multiple swipes of color, I could not get them to show up in the swatches. I would consider these shades to be “duds” , and I will notate those for you in the swatches below.

On to the swatches!

1st Row (All of these would be gorgeous for fall looks! 2nd shade down=dud)

2nd Row (Both the fuchsia and blue are beautiful! 3rd shade down=dud)

3rd Row (Love the top silver and middle gold shade! 2nd shade down=dud)

4th Row (Amazing pigmentation in this row and the burgundy and green shades are gorgeous!)

For $10 this palette is well worth the money, and would be a great buy for someone wanting to play around with different eyeshadow looks without breaking the bank.

I would also like to add that while I wasn’t blown away with the primer that came with the set, the eyeshadow brush and eyeliner brush are great quality and all around you are getting an awesome deal with this set.

This palette gets a thumbs up in my book and is probably one of the best drugstore palettes I have tried in the $5-$10 range.

What do you think about the shades? Is there another palette by e.l.f. that you love? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by & be sure and follow me on Facebook!- Cara
