Hask Beauty Monoi Coconut Oil Hair Care Collection Review

Hask Beauty recently sent me their Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Hair Care Collection to try out and review for them, and today I’m sharing my full thoughts on all of the products from the collection. As part of the Monoi collection, I received the Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo, the Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner, the Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner, and the Monoi Coconut Oil Shine Treatment, as well as a complimentary brush. Below, I have provided a detailed description of all the products I received as well as my review of each product.

Hask Beauty Brand

To provide a little background on the company, Hask offers a wide collection of hair care products that feature exotic oils and ingredients from all around the world. Argan Oil, Macadamia Oil, Monoi Oil, and Keratin Protein are just a few key ingredients which Hask uses in its products. Another great quality held by Hask Beauty’s shampoos and conditioners is the fact that all products are completely free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol, and artificial colors. These ingredients and chemicals are often found in less expensive shampoos and can result in dryness, scalp irritation, color fade, and sometimes can even result in hair loss.

Hask Monoi Beauty Review

Hask Shampoo

Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Shampoo– This shampoo aims to moisturize and revitalize hair that has been damaged by heat tools and/or color treatment. As someone who gets highlights regularly and uses a straightener and curling iron frequently, I was very interested to see how this product would do on my hair. I noticed this shampoo made my locks feel moisturized and soft after washing, and it seemed to rid my hair of any frizziness. Also, like the rest of the products in this collection, this product smells amazing!

Hask Conditioner

Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Conditioner– This conditioner is designed to not only hydrate and strengthen the hair, but also to protect the hair against future damage. Again, as someone who frequently straightens her hair, I wanted to see if this product truly conditioned my hair. I must say that the first time I conditioned my hair with this product, I immediately noticed how soft and silky my hair felt afterwards. It also seemed to make my hair a lot more manageable when styling it the next day. For best results Hask recommends to leave this product on the hair for at least 1-2 minutes prior to rinsing (which I did).

Hask Deep Conditioner

Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Nourishing Deep Conditioner– This product is designed to be used for restorative treatment for hair that has been damaged. I applied this to my hair one evening and left the product in for around 10 minutes. Once rinsed, I couldn’t believe how soft my hair felt, even before drying. Out of the entire bunch, this was probably my favorite product. This would be a great treatment to use once a month on the hair, especially if you frequently style your hair with heated tools.

Hask Shine Treatment

Hask Monoi Coconut Oil Shine Treatment– Last but not least is the oil shine treatment. I’ve used shine treatments before in my hair, but they are typically always heavy and leave my hair looking oily afterwards. I am happy to report that did not happen with this product. The lightweight formula makes it easy for a little product to go a long way throughout the hair, and can be applied to either dry or wet hair. This product made my hair smooth and silky, and is perfect to use when you are wanting a straight, sleek finish. I only used a tiny dollop on my hair, and it seriously made my hair look so pretty and shiny.

Overall, I was impressed with all of the products in the Monoi Coconut Oil Hair Care Collection. Not only did all of these products smell amazing, but the products actually followed through on their claims and made my hair feel more moisturized and healthy after using them.

Hope you enjoyed today’s review and I highly recommend that you give these products a try if you are looking for a moisturizing hair care collection. Don’t forget to head over here to check out other amazing beauty product reviews!

My problem with products like these is that they always leave my hair looking oily, since it’s light. That’s exciting that you found something that doesn’t do that!!

That’s why I was a little skeptical at first, because I’ve had similar experiences, but these are really good quality products, and I actually would recommend them if you’re looking for extra moisture. 🙂
