Life Lately in Photos- Winter Update

Hey everyone! It’s been awhile since I’ve did a life update so today I wanted to share with you some of the things that have been going on in my busy little world. Beyond the fact that it’s been ridiculously hard to get back in the swing of things after the holidays, I can’t complain much. Life has been good and I’ve been enjoying spending time with the family.

I know I’m a little late to the party on this one, but we had an awesome Christmas! I managed to actually pull off a surprise for my husband and boys this year and we officially added a new fur friend to the family. A few days before picking him up, I gave them a gift bag that had a dog collar in it, and a card that said they would soon be meeting the newest member of the family. Needless to say they were all ecstatic, and he’s been a great addition to the family. Although potty training has been less than fun, it’s hard to resist his cuteness. In case you’re wondering he’s a miniature goldendoodle.

Meet Brady, or as I call him Brady Bear

Besides playing with a new puppy,  I’ve managed to have a few mommy son dates over the last few weeks, which have been a lot of fun, and my youngest just had his Kindergarten check-up the other day. I keep asking myself where all the time has gone and how it’s possible for him to be starting school this fall.

He was so good about getting 3 different shots at the Doctor and having his blood drawn, that his Dad treated him with his favorite ice-cream.

I also can’t help but brag a little on my oldest son, who just received his mid year reading assessment and scored at a 2nd grade reading level. I’m so proud of him and it’s so awesome to have him read the bedtime stories to me now.

Here’s a photo of him after he made a lunchables chicken kabob all by himself. Pretty good, eh?

We also had our first big snow, and I even managed to get a few snow days off from work, which was nice. If you follow me on Insta, I shared a few Insta stories of us sledding, and I forgot how much fun sledding is! It was an absolute blast!

The boys made the best snow angels

All in all, it’s been a pretty awesome winter so far! What have you been up to lately? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by!- Cara
