Hey Everyone! Does anyone else feel like summer time is seriously flying by? I can’t believe in less than a month school will start back and my oldest son will be starting 1st grade. 🙁 I now completely understand what all these parents mean when they say time goes by twice as fast once they start school, because it definitely does.
Since getting back from the beach last month I haven’t given much of a life update on here so I wanted to share a little insight on what’s been going on in my world this summer. Besides working non-stop, I’ve been putting a lot of efforts into my blog and social media pages, that you may or may not have noticed.
I recently updated my about me page and sidebar, updated several older posts to match the look/feel of my blog, and added in a new index organizer for all my blog posts. I love it now because all my beauty posts and recipes are organized by categories, which is awesome!
I’ve also really been focusing on upping my Insta game and finally reached 1K followers! Thanks to all of you who already follow me, and if you’re not- why aren’t you?! haha jk but really you should follow me if you wanna keep up! 😉

Some days I can’t believe that my little blogging corner of the world has been around for 8 months now, because it seriously feels like just yesterday that I started this journey. But I’m so thankful for blogging and all of the wonderful individuals I’ve met along the way.
From the depths of my heart I truly appreciate each of you who take the time to read a post of mine and comment, and those who follow along with me on my social pages. In the beginning, I honestly thought I’d have maybe 5 followers and that they’d all be family members, so truly- thanks to each of you! 🙂
Life Lately in Photos
Beyond blogging and work, my summer has been filled with fun evenings and weekends playing with my boys. They are my whole world and are always keeping me laughing.
We had a great 4th of July with my family and my husband put on a great firework show (as always).
A trip to Chuck E. Cheese was a must-do for the boys who had never been. The closest one to us is almost an hour and a half away, but they had a blast.
Just last weekend we took a trip to the movies to watch The Secret Life of Pets and my boys were literally belly chuckling throughout the whole film. It was such a cute movie, and I highly recommend it. We also made sure to stop by a new frozen yogurt shop to taste it out. The boys approved! 🙂
All in all, it’s been a pretty amazing summer with my family so far. We’re planning a backyard campout soon and a couple other fun things before school starts back, but I’m super blessed to have been able to see them so much the last few months.

Wow! Look at your summer productivity! Do you have any pointers to share on growing your IG following?? I LOVE the fireworks/sparkler pictures! Kids are so cute with them! I can’t believe how FAST summer is going!

The boys are such cuties! I love the cowboy and water gun picture! Chuck E Cheese is always a win for us. Except the boys never want to leave. Haha! I am hoping to take mine to watch the Secret life of Pets, but I have to convince them they cant take our dogs.
