Lorac Mega Pro Palette 3 Review + Swatches

Hey Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! Today I wanted to share with you my birthday gift to myself this year. As you all know, I’m a huge fan of Lorac eyeshadow palettes and own several of their regular pro palettes, including Lorac Pro and Lorac Pro 2, but when I saw this limited edition palette come available, I knew I had to snatch it up.

Lorac Mega Pro Palette 3

The Lorac Mega Pro Palette 3 features 32 eyeshadows and retails for $59. The colors are so gorgeous and I love how Lorac palettes always have a nice mixture of matte shadows and shimmer shades for versatility. Best of all, though, the quality is always there in each and every Lorac palette. I have never ever been disappointed in the quality, the pigmentation, and the longevity of these shadows, and that’s what always keeps me coming back for more.

As mentioned previously, these shadows do have wonderful pigmentation which makes them great for blending, but I personally always use the NYX white eyeshadow base as a primer on the lid to ensure the colors are bold, bright, and beautiful, and that they stay in place all day long. Also, because the shadows are a soft, velvety texture, a little product goes a long way. I recommend lightly sweeping the brush in the product, so that you don’t end up making a mess everywhere. 😉

Moving on to the colors, can we just stop and take in all the glory of these beautiful shades? First up you have some gorgeous light, everyday matte shades that are perfect for both base and transition shades. I’ve already been enjoying using so many of these to create multi-dimensional looks, and both Pecan and Toffee are already favorites of mine.

Next up, you also have some beautiful dark mattes in a range of cool and warm tones, perfect for creating beautiful smoky eye looks. The top three shades alone would be so gorgeous for creating a romantic look for Valentine’s day.

Moving on to all of the shimmer shades, I’m absolutely blown away with how stunning these shades are. Between the beautiful light shimmer tones that are great for highlighting the eye, and the darker, seductive looking tones, there’s a perfect shade for every beauty lover out there.

I can see these shades making an appearance in my eye looks year round, with shades that will look beautiful in every season.

  16. These colors are gorgeous! I have the Lorac Pro and Pro 2. I have so many palettes that I don’t reach for them often but after this post I need to give them more love. I would use 90% of the colors in that palette! Thanks for sharing!

    1. It’s a great color! That’s honestly why I always go with Lorac just because their quality is amazing! This was a bit of a splurge for me, but I really love the colors and think I’ll get a lot of use out of it! 🙂

  28. I have always wondered about these palettes! I actually saw these at Kohl’s. and was thinking I should try one! Now that I’ve seen your reviews, I want to, I especially love the shimmers! Such beautiful colors that are right up my alley! I hope you have a marvelous Monday beautiful!

    1. Yes, you should Andrea! I’ve never bought a palette from them I didn’t like. I personally really like how they include so many everyday shades with a few “fun” shades for special occasions. It makes it very useable! 🙂
