We Miss You Already

Last week was the boys spring break and my parents came in from Virginia for a visit. I had originally planned to take the week off to spend time with everyone and be more present, but on Monday evening we received the most gut-wrenching, devastating news one could ever receive.

My father-in-law tragically passed away and I can’t even describe the level of heartbreak this has had on our family. He was the type of person that everyone loved to be around and his infectious smile and laughter always lit up the room.

He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and friend to many and this world won’t be the same without him in it.

I didn’t really know what to say in today’s post other than to urge you to spend time with the ones you love. Tell them you love them, always give them a hug and a kiss, and be sure that they know exactly how much you mean to them every single time you are with them.

We’re not ever promised tomorrow and life is a precious gift.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers and know that I deeply appreciate each and every one of you who has already reached out to me.

Thanks for stopping by-Cara
