Pixi by Petra Eyeshadow Review – Eye Reflection Palettes
Happy Wednesday! Today I’m excited to share a full review of the new Pixi Eye Reflection Eyeshadow Palettes. I’ll also be sharing swatches of all 24 shades and sharing my thoughts on the formula, pigmentation, and wearability.
Pixi Beauty Eye Reflection Eyeshadow Palettes Review
I recently received these two beauties in a PR package from Pixi, and needless to say I was immediately blown away with how gorgeous they are! The Pixi Eye Reflection Shadow Palettes come in two shade varieties, including Reflex Light which is full of beautiful, warm tones, and Natural Beauty which has a great mix of both cool and warm shades.
First off, one of the things I love most about Pixi eyeshadow palettes is the fact that they include every color you need to create a full eye makeup look. Unlike other palettes out there where you have to use additional palettes to create your eyeshadow look, these have a great mix of neutral, transition, crease, and all-over eyeshadow shades.
Second, I’ve always been a huge fan of Pixi eyeshadow palettes for their amazing quality, pigmentation, and colors, and I’m happy to report that these two are no exception. The creamy metallic formula glides on like butter and is very easy to work with and blend on the eyelids. The colors are also very pigmented with a little product going a long way, and these shadows are paraben and phthalate free.

I’m also a fan of the size and packaging and at less than $25 each, you’re definitely getting your money’s worth with these palettes.
That said, my one and only complaint about these eyeshadow palettes is that the Reflex Light eyeshadow palette has all metallic shimmer shadows, while the Natural Beauty eyeshadow palette contains a mixture of both metallic shimmers and mattes. I personally prefer to have a palette that has both finishes and wish they would have been consistent with including both in each palette, but it definitely isn’t a dealbreaker if you don’t mind using additional shadows from other palettes in your collection.

Pixi Eye Reflection Eyeshadow Palette – Reflex Light
The Reflex Light Pixi Eyeshadow Palette is perfect for those of you who LOVE warm shades like copper, brown, and gold, and I can’t get over how rich the pigmentation is.
The color payoff in just one swipe is unreal and they definitely live up to their claim of being “light-reflecting” shadows. I can see these being a great palette for summer time and fall, especially. You can check out all the gorgeous shades below!
Pixi Eye Reflection Eyeshadow Palette – Natural Beauty
The Natural Beauty Pixi Eyeshadow Palette is more for those who love cool-toned shades, featuring deep browns, mauves, and champagne tones, but it also features warmer shades too. In comparing the two, I think this one is better for everyday wear.
Also, the main difference in this palette from the other is that it features both metallic shimmers and matte shades, offering a bit more variety in the type of makeup looks you can create. Although I love them both, this was my favorite of the two!
Hope you enjoyed today’s Pixi Eyeshadow Review of the new Eye Reflection Palettes! Which one do you love the most – the Reflex Light or the Natural Beauty? Let me know in the comments!
