september confessions

It’s that time again…these are my monthly confessions for September!

Food Confessions
  • Not gonna lie, the people who tell me they don’t like cake/sweets always make me a little uncomfortable. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about balance, but sometimes you have to treat yourself otherwise, are you really living?
  • I also don’t understand the ones who claim they were so busy they forgot to eat a meal. I plan my whole day around food, so I promise you that person will never be me.
Beauty Confessions
  • I try really hard not to but sometimes when I’m in meetings, I give people makeovers in my mind. I pick out a new hairstyle, outfit, makeup, the whole 9 yards. It’s a blessing and a curse really.
  • I would 100% create Halloween makeup looks everyday if it were acceptable.
Random Confessions
  • While shopping the other day, I totally went up to another vehicle (same make, same model) and couldn’t figure out for the life of me why the button on the side of the door wasn’t unlocking when I clicked it. I also started semi-freaking out when I noticed a huge scratch on the side of the door. I was about five seconds away from calling my husband in extreme panic when my boys pointed to the next row over and said, “Mom, isn’t that our car over there?”
  • I completely blanked the other day when someone asked me how old I was. Fortunately I don’t think they expected an actual answer, but I couldn’t even muster up a response if I wanted to. It was like “Um, well I know I’m older than 21…and I think I had my 25th birthday..” lol. In case you’re wondering I’m 26, and it only took me about 2 minutes to remember. 😉
Pet Peeve of the Week

People who fail to signal irk me to no end. It’s like really, you’re that lazy that you can’t switch on the signal that’s right next to where your hand is anyways? If I could write them a ticket on the spot, I totally would. #copwifeprobs

I don’t trust people that say they don’t like sweets either! It is one thing to be avoiding them because you are trying to lose weight or some health reason….but to flat out say you never crave them or want them? Yeah, no. Not buying it. And I have totally walked up to the wrong car before!!! To the point of trying to put the key in the door wondering why my remote wasn’t working either. hahaha. It happens!

Lol, I was so glad that the owner and/or nobody else was in the parking lot to see that occur, though. I was pretty happy that it wasn’t my scratched up door haha. 😉

I’m one of those people who can forget to eat. It makes me THE WORST to be with because people don’t understand or worse yet feel like it’s intentional! I took my staff to a conference two weeks and had to tell them to remind me to feed them!

I don’t believe anyone who says they don’t like cake either. Or the ones that scratch off the frosting in disgust, because they are the ones that eat only the frosting at home.
I can’t stand it when someone doesn’t signal, why is it so hard to show me where you are headed?
Love the pics below, especially the “Decisions have been made”!

I agree with you on planning my day around food. I only skip a meal if I am feeling sick to my stomach. Other than that…bring on the food. I too hate when people do not use their turn signals. Texas drivers are the worst at not using their turn signals. So you literally have to stay a good bit behind the person in front of you due to that reason. Ugh!

Hey Cara! i hate getting behind people that just don’t know how to drive. You can ask your mommy and especially if they don’t know how to use a turn signal. The other day we saw a vehicle only going 5 miles an hour up the mountain and I told your mommy they are going to get somebody killed. I love eating sweets and by the way the candy you made was great. Your mommy can tell you about stories about getting in the wrong car or mistaking ours for somebody else. Love you

I “blanked out” the other day. I was leaving a voicemail message at work. Despite saying our company’s phone number at least a dozen times every work day, I just drew a blank as to what it was. I hung up and then called back and left another message, pretending that our phone system was “giving us trouble”. I also hate when people don’t use their turn signals. Or when they STOP and THEN turn the signal on.
