We all know there’s a lot of trends that come and go every season, but in the case of black and white pieces- they’re seriously always in, no matter the time of year! You really cannot go wrong in purchasing black or white items, as they offer versatility when it comes to styling and they are both universally flattering.

I personally had a lot of fun in styling both of these pieces, and went a little edgy with tousled rocker style hair. Although I chose to keep it pretty simple with my shoes and accessories, you could totally add in color to make these looks super fun and vibrant.

Little Black Lace Dress

First up is this gorgeous black shift dress which features the most beautiful mesh, lace detail. Bell sleeves and lace overlay also give it a super romantic feel and the dress underneath is form fitting, which is perfect for date night!

Edgy Rocker Vibes

My second look features a beautiful white pleated maxi skirt paired with a classic, black off-the-shoulder bodysuit. You might have seen me style this skirt which I picked up from Burkes Outlet another way over on my Instagram, but needless to say I love it. Not only is it simply gorgeous and oh, so flowy, but it also features a beautiful Aztec print around the waist, which adds a little extra flair that I love.

  35. Ok, I am in love with these. There is a long-standing joke among those close to me that I only wear solid neutral colors: gray, black and white, so these looks are right up my alley. That black and white dress is beautiful!
