Wet n’ Wild New Products Haul + Review

Wet n' Wild Makeup Haul

Happy Wednesday Lovelies! Today I’m excited to share with you my latest makeup haul of new Wet n’ Wild products. I’m all around impressed with everything I picked up, and I’m especially excited about some of the new pretties for spring.

Wet n’ Wild is probably one of my favorite drugstore brands simply because the quality is great and the price is even better! I picked up all of these products at either Wal-mart or K-mart but I’m pretty sure all except the eyeshadow palette are sold in all of the drugstores as well.

Wet n' Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette

Wet n’ Wild Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette in Bare Necessities, Wal-mart- $5.62

Wet n' Wild Au Naturel Palette

Beautiful neutral shades perfect for everyday looks and smokey eyes

All in all, this palette contains beautiful neutral shades, that contain a nice pigmentation. This palette would be a great choice for someone who is looking for versatile colors that can be worn year round.

As always, I recommend using an eyeshadow primer to enhance the staying power and color impact of the shadows, and I definitely recommend using eyeshadow brushes instead of the one that’s included in the palette itself. For the price point, you really can’t beat this palette!

Wet n Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder

Wet n’ Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder in Where the Dreamers Go and Desert Explorations, K-mart- $2.99 Each

Wet n' Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder

“Where the Dreamers Go”

Wet n' Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder

Has goldish undertones that appears more subtle on the skin

Wet n' Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder

“Desert Explorations”

Wet n' Wild Geometric Highlighting Powder

Has blueish/rosy undertones, which is more prominent

These highlighting palettes are both really pretty but I think the intensity of the color really depends on your skintone. With having fair skin, the “Desert Explorations” showed up a lot better and I loved how it had more of a rosy tone to it, but I can see how the “Where the Dreamers Go” palette would look beautiful on more golden and darker skin tones.

I think both of these would be great to have on hand for the summer time in adding a little touch of shimmer to the face, but for me personally I love the “Desert Explorations” one!

Wet n Wild Lipstick

Wet n’ Wild Lipstick in 501C A Short Affair, Wal-mart- $.99

Wet n' Wild Lipstick

I’m not really sure if this product was new, but I thought it was such a pretty color I picked it up anyways. I’m a huge fan of Wet n’ Wild lipsticks because I feel like they have a really good staying power and they have a wide range of color choices to choose from. This lipstick is such a pretty neutral, pink shade that would look perfect paired with a smokey eye!

Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Colors

Wet n’ Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color Crayons in Lie Lack and Berry Tales, K-mart- $2.99

Wet n' Wild Velvet Matte Lip Colors

These two lip crayons was what I was most excited to try out and I think the shades are so gorgeous for spring! Also, how cute are the names “lie-lack” and “berry tales”?! 🙂 Being the pink/purple lover that I am, of course lie-lack is my favorite and it’s such a gorgeous statement shade!

Wet n' Wild Kohl Eyeliner

Wet n’ Wild Color Icon Kohl Eyeliner in Pros and Bronze– $1.99, K-mart

Wet n Wild Kohl Eyeliner

Last but not least is Wet n’ Wild’s Color Icon eyeliner in Pros and Bronze, and this one has such a pretty goldish/brown shade. I personally like wearing it on my lower lash line, paired with a bronze smokey eye, and I think it looks beautiful once applied. It’s also really easy to apply and glides right on!

Hope you enjoyed today’s product haul and review! Let me know in the comments which product is your fave!

Thanks for stopping by-Cara

  1. I’m such a fan of their eyeliner and my CVS frequently has a sale running on their products. I’ve been curious about the palettes, so I appreciate the review.

  2. I love how Wet N Wild has such affordable products and they are truly comparable to the top pricey brands. I am in love with that lipstick and that eyeshadow pallette looks like a world of endless possibilities!

  3. What a great haul! I love the look of those Lip Color Crayons, the colors are beautiful! I just might be going to pick a few up for myself today.

  4. I have been DYING to get my hands on the new Wet n Wild brushes! They have been out of stock for FOREVER! But I really love this brand; very good quality for a steal of a deal! I love their new gel nail polish!

  5. These all look great! I have a Wet n Wild blush/bronzer I’ve used since high school. My makeup bag is never without it! Such a good brand for so cheap!

    1. I agree! I think a lot of people relate it to what they wore in high school so they discredit it as being a good brand, but it really is awesome and one of my go-to drugstore brands! 🙂

  6. I love reading posts like this one – it reminded me of a brand I haven’t tried in forever. I really love that Au Natural palette! It’s perfect for everyday wear.

  7. That palette looks so pigmented! The shades look really pretty as well. I recently picked up some of their matte lip colors and i am excited to try them. They don’t seem like a typical matte formula as far as being really dry.

    1. Mistle, you are right! Their matte shades are really pretty but don’t dry out the lips like some matte formulas. And the palette does have really pretty pigmentation!

  8. So pretty and I adore the pricing! WNW lip liner is my go to. Lasts all day!! Fun stuff lady!! Hope you’ve had a beautiful day!!

    1. I keep hearing their lip liners work really well, but they are almost always sold out of all the colors. (I guess cause people love them!)-haha Hope you have a great day 🙂

  9. I haven’t tried their shadows or highlighters. I really like the highlighters so maybe I will grab one next time I am out. You cant beat their prices.

  10. Oh Kara, I haven’t purchased anything Wet N’ Wild in years but you have me convinced. I want to try those highlighting powders and also that eye makeup palette has some very pretty shades. Thanks for a great review and Happy Hump Day!

Thank you for linking up with me last week. This week’s current, brand-new linkup is live (a day early). I would love for you to join it. Thank you. Ada. =)

  12. OMG that bronze eyeliner and lie-lack lip crayon are calling my name effective immediately for my weekend trip to miami tomorrow! How pretty! I totally agree that WnW has become an amazing drugstore brand. I’ve seen great things about that Au Naturale palette and heard those geometric powders were very similar to the high end $45 Hourglass powders. After seeing your swatches, I have to agree they look extremely similar to the finish of my Hourglass Luminous Light powder. Great post 🙂

  13. The Desert Explorations highlighting pallete is really pretty! I love Wet ‘n Wild stuff, too, because it’s so affordable! Thanks for sharing on Pin Worthy Wednesday! 🙂

  14. I am so happy about this post!! I love Wet and Wild but usually just stick to eyeliner and some lipsticks. That highlighter looks so pretty – I’ve never used a highlighter before, so I think this will be my first. I also love that lipstick color – I have such a hard time choosing colors, so thanks for doing the work for me! Pinning for future use : )
