6 Winter Beauty Favorites You Should Try
Dr. Brandt Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask
Ohemgee this sleeping mask has been a total lifesaver over the last couple of months. My skin can get so dry and tight in the winter months if I don’t stay on top of my skincare routine and after applying this stuff nightly before bed, it’s been so much softer and more nourished.
It literally makes your skin feel baby soft and I swear my makeup has been applying better too. It is a little pricey, but skincare is the one area I’ll always recommend spending a little extra $$ (I mean we only get one face lol).
Maelove The Glow Maker and The Hydrator Serums
You might remember me talking about Maelove and their skincare products on Instagram awhile back, but if not – Maelove is an amazing new skincare brand with a focus on luxury products without the luxury price. I’ve been using their serum trio for the last several months in my daily routine and The Glow Maker and The Hydrator are definite favorites of mine.
I try to alternate between the two serums each night depending on my skin’s needs, and they’re seriously so good at giving my skin that little extra boost of hydration and nourishment. Definitely check them out if you’ve been on the hunt for some new serums – they’re some of the best I’ve tried.
Dermatologist’s Choice Deep Cleansing Facial Mask
I’ve talked about this amazing deep cleansing facial mask on my Instagram several times, but it’s so good I just had to include it in today’s winter beauty favorites. If you want an awesome mask that deep cleans the skin AND hydrates it, then this is the mask for you.
I used to avoid clay masks a lot because so many of them would just dry my skin out even more, but this one doesn’t do that. Every time I use it it’s like I’ve just given myself a facial and my skin always looks and feels better afterwards. It’s also great to calm your skin from redness or irritation.
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Lip Polish
I’ve been using this lip polish since last Fall and it’s SO good! I normally am not big on lip scrubs since a lot of them don’t really work that well, but this one is awesome. It also has a really nice rose scent to it which is nice and the nourishing oil continues to moisturize the lips even after you’ve removed the scrub. Paired with my favorite lip butters, this has been the perfect lip winter beauty routine!
Love Beauty and Planet Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Sulfate Free Shampoo
After searching for an affordable sulfate free shampoo for months, I recently picked this one up and I am in LOVE. First off, I love the Love Beauty and Planet brand and everything their company stands for, but mission aside, this shampoo is awesome! The coconut water and mimosa flower blend smells amazing and it does such a great job of lathering your hair and cleaning it. I’ve been alternating between this one and my favorite purple shampoos and I’m SO happy with it! (Also just an FYI, it seems to be much cheaper on Amazon than in-store at Walmart and Target.)
Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day Plum Berry Hand Lotion
It’s official. I’m obsessed with Mrs. Meyer’s products. After recently switching out all our hand soaps to Mrs. Meyer’s, I thought I’d try out a hand lotion too, and it’s awesome! My hands get so dry in the winter time (especially when I have to wash them 5700 times a day during flu season) and this has been awesome to apply daily. Plus the Plum Berry smell is SO good! Try this or the soaps out- you won’t be disappointed.
Hope you enjoyed today’s Winter Beauty Favorites roundup and found some new brands and products to try out soon! What’s one of your Winter beauty favorites? Let me know in the comments below so I can check it out too!

Okay, there’s so much in this post that I want to try! The lip scrub, shampoo, hand lotion/soaps … my Target shopping list just grew! Ha! I’ve been so curious about that shampoo because I’m a fan of that brand’s body washes.
Haha sorry about that! I think you’ll really like the shampoo – I’ve been so impressed with it.
