Over the past year, I’ve been making a lot of changes in my daily life to be healthier and to use more natural products that are better for me. Not only does this include my diet, but it also includes beauty and makeup products that I’m putting on my skin daily.

I’m always shocked when finding out what harmful chemicals and hidden ingredients are in many of the products we use on a daily basis, and I definitely want to be better about making switches to cleaner beauty brands when I can.

So today I’ve rounded up 8 Clean Beauty Brands to Try This Year and even better they’re all budget-friendly brands that you can feel good about using without breaking the bank!

These clean beauty brands have been on my radar for awhile now and this year I will personally be testing out products from each and sharing my honest reviews with you all along the way. If you’ve tried out any products from these clean beauty brands, be sure and let me know in the comments below! I’d love to hear your thoughts/recommendations!

Affordable Clean Beauty Brands to Try

P/Y/T Beauty

Probably one of my favorite clean beauty brands on this list to try is P/Y/T Beauty. All their products are made free of harmful chemicals, are cruelty-free, and super affordable! Their eyeshadow palettes are probably some of the prettiest I’ve ever seen, and I love that they have multi-purpose products like this dual ended lipgloss + lipstick.

Clove & Hallow

Another awesome clean beauty brand that I’ve been following for awhile now is Clove & Hallow. Founded by a professional makeup artist, this brand offers affordably-priced clean beauty products that are also cruelty-free and vegan. With everything under $20, I’m super excited to test out their gorgeous lip velvet lipsticks and conceal + correct concealer.

Honest Beauty

Of all the brands on this list, you’ve probably already heard of Honest Beauty. Created by Jessica Alba, this wellness brand is focused on empowering people to live happy, healthy lives, and they currently have everything from beauty and makeup products to baby, bath and body, and even home products. Now sold at Target, this affordable clean beauty brand is widely accessible and I love that all the makeup products are under $20.

Pacifica Beauty

Speaking of affordable clean beauty brands at Target, Pacifica Beauty is slowly becoming a new favorite of mine. I tried out some of their facial masks last year and loved them, and to my awesome surprise they also have makeup, bath and body products, hair, perfume, and even supplements! They’re 100% vegan and cruelty-free, and all their products are paraben free with skin-loving ingredients. I mean how gorgeous is this eyeshadow palette and it’s under $12!

Kopari

If you love coconut, then you’re gonna LOVE Kopari. I recently tried out their Coconut Crush Scrub, and now I want to try their entire line of body and skincare products. Not only did it smell amazing, but it worked wonders in removing all that dead, dry skin you get in the winter months. Kopari is focused on putting nourishing, skin-loving ingredients into all of their products, and they live by the hashtag #NoToxinsNoKidding. Did I mention all their products and kits are affordable?! Yes, please!

Elate

Elate Cosmetics has a primary focus of creating products that don’t compromise the health of humans, animals, or the planet, and personally I think that’s awesome! They have a huge range of pressed powder eyeshadows, lipsticks and balms, and a wide variety of both liquid and powder foundations. Most products fall in the range of $25 or less and they even offer a really cool option to create your own makeup capsule.

Hush + Dotti

With a motto of “Zero Toxins, Zero BS”,  you know that Hush + Dotti is committed to creating only quality makeup and skincare products. While they don’t have a huge makeup collection to choose from, their products are all highly rated and recommended, with their organic liquid foundation as one of the top recommendations in the clean beauty brand space. They also have a ton of organic skincare products that look great!

W3LL People

W3LL People offers premium, non-toxic, plant-based makeup with a focus on quality and performance. It’s not enough to just create clean makeup, but they focus on creating clean makeup products that perform amazing and last. Their optimist lipstick actually won Allure’s Best of Beauty for 2019 and their baked bronzer has a 5-star rating!
