Cute Spring Flower Nails Tutorial
I absolutely love painting my nails at home, but switching up the look of my nails each season is a definite must. Especially now that Spring has officially arrived, I’ve been wanting to create something cute with fun spring colors.
So today I’m sharing a Cute Spring Flower Nails Tutorial, featuring bright and fun colors, adorable flowers, and polka dots. In this easy DIY, I will show you how to create this adorable spring nail look at home using only a few simple tools, and it’s so easy that anyone can do it!
Cute Spring Flower Nails Tutorial
Step 1: Paint Nails with Base Coat. I’m using Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in 620 Limestone.
Step 2: Using a toothpick or wooden cuticle pusher, carefully draw on 6 large dots with pink acrylic paint or nail polish to form your flower petals. I’m using the shade bright magenta.
Step 3: Using white acrylic paint or nail polish, draw a large dot to form the center of your flower. Using the tip of a bobby pin or toothpick draw on pink polka dots on the other nails not painted with flowers.
Step 4: Apply a clear coat over your nails for protection, and you have bright, beautiful spring nails! 😉
What can I say, I love flowers and polka dots!

These are so cute! I am so awful with my nails. I always paint them nicely, and then can never have the patience to sit still while they dry! These are so good though!

Thank-you! I struggle with the sitting still part too. My kids always want me to fix something right after I paint them-haha
So adorable! It’s a very spring-y design for sure 🙂 And I love the colors as well!
Thank-you! Haha I’m a spring fanatic if you can’t tell 😉
This is just so cute! I love nail art but am so overwhelmed by it sometimes. I like the polkadot/flower combo!

Thank-you! This one is pretty fool-proof with the acrylic paint. If you mess up you can easily wipe it off and start over. 🙂

Thank-you! It definitely has taken me years of practice 🙂

I love the mix of flowers and polka dots in this look! It’s nice to see it mixed up with both instead having all your nails just one or the other! Great post, Cara, and thanks for sharing!
Thank-you Kiara! I agree, it’s a nice balance to have both styles. 🙂
Your nails look adorable!! I like the bright green base color!
Thank-you! It really makes them pop, doesn’t it!?
This is so cute! I am definitely not talented enough to do this to my own nails, but yours turned out gorgeous!
Thank-you! It really isn’t much different than drawing on paper, although doing the right hand does take a little longer. 🙂
Very cute! I didn’t read all the comments, but I’ve also seen dots done using the plastic coated end of a bobby pin … it sounds perfect but I can’t attest to how well it works! Either way, gorgeous at home pretties!
Thank-you! Yes I regularly use the tip of a bobby pin, and it works great! I actually have another tutorial for that on here as well. 🙂

Super pretty and perfect for this time of year, even just the polka dots, which is more realistic for my skill level LOL. Love the watermelon colors! Hope you have a fantastic weekend! XO -Kim
Thank-you Kim! Haha, all it takes is a little practice I promise 😉 Have a great weekend!
I could never do that but it’s super cute!
It’s very easy, I promise 🙂
So cute! I made a huge mistake with nailpolish that color last year and forgot a base coat. Ooooh my nails were so stained after that. It took a while for it to come off.
Thank-you! Oh no! I think we’ve all made those type of mistakes once or twice, so don’t feel bad! 🙂
That is ADORABLE!!!!
I would never think to make those dots turn into a flower. Genius!
Thank-you! 🙂
Very cute and I love that green!
Thanks and I do too!
How fun! I love doing cool things like this with my nails. Perfect for Easter!
