Hey everyone! Hope you all had an amazing long Memorial Day weekend. My oldest son turned 8 years old last week, school let out for summer break, and we got to spend time with our family who came in for a visit.
With the whirlwind of a year that it has been so far, it was nice to just relax and spend time together and enjoy my son’s birthday.
It’s been quite some time since I’ve did a favorites post on the blog, so today I’ve rounded up all my spring beauty and fashion favorites. These are the items that I’ve been using/wearing non-stop lately and I’m excited to share them with you!
Spring Beauty and Fashion Favorites
Physicians Formula The Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipsticks in Magentle Formula
I’ve already professed my love for the Physicians Formula Healthy Lip Velvet Liquid Lipsticks in this post over here, but this particular shade is SO gorgeous for spring and summer.
It’s such a fun, bright pink and I love the fact that there’s absolutely zero re-application necessary and they last ALL day. If you still haven’t tried them, I totally recommend you check them out. (P.S. They’re B1G1 50% off at Ulta right now!)
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50
I always switch out my foundation in the spring and summer months to something a little lighter, and I recently started using this IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50.
You guys I absolutely love it! Everyone has always raved about it and now I totally know why. It gives your skin this beautiful natural-looking finish while still providing full coverage, and is so lightweight. I also love that it has SPF 50 because #palegirlprobs.
Makeup Revolution Blush Palette in Goddess
I picked up this blush palette a couple months back at Ulta and I’ve been loving using it.
I really love palettes that are multi-purpose, so not only does it have the four matte blushes but it also has four highlighting blushes to add a beautiful shimmer.
I personally like to mix some of the shades to get a really pretty color on the cheeks, and the formula is really buildable.
Catrice Cosmetics Glam & Doll False Lashes Mascara
This was another new product I picked up at Ulta a few months back and you guys, I’m so glad I did! Say hello to my newest favorite lengthening mascara, and if you’re like me and you like your lashes to look like they’re a mile long, then you NEED this mascara in your life.
It lengthens, separates, and darkens the lashes all in one swipe and I’m so impressed with this mascara. I also picked up this illuminating primer from them and so far I’m loving it as well. Definitely a great drugstore brand to keep on the radar.
Pamprin Multi-Symptom
Let’s be real, that time of the month can be such a drag most of the time. Thankfully, I recently started using the Pamprin Multi-Symptom and it has helped tremendously in easing all the side effects that normally make me want to stay cooped up on the couch all day.
Pamprin Multi-Symptom contains three active ingredients including an antihistamine to relieve irritability, a diuretic to fight against bloating and water weight gain, and a pain reliever to alleviate cramps. It also has the same strength as Extra Strength Tylenol so you can carry on with your day, minus pain.
If you’ve been in the market for something to help ease your symptoms during that time of the month, I definitely encourage you to check it out over here at Walmart.
In case you missed it, I recently shared a 21-Day Positivity Challenge in partnership with Pamprin and PRIMP that is amazing for helping change your mindset to be more positive. Head over here for full details on the challenge and for my favorite positive daily affirmations.
Patchology Lip Service Gloss-to-Balm Treatment
This gloss-to-balm lip treatment from Patchology is awesome for moisturizing the lips and it smells amazing!
It has aloe, honey, and goji berry to really moisturize and plump the lips, plus hyaluronic acid for protecting them, and you’ll never reach for another tube of chapstick again after using it.
EcoTools Charcoal Konjac Facial Cleansing Sponge
This little charcoal sponge has taken exfoliating my face to a whole new level. It’s so cool!
You simply wet it, apply your cleanser, and work in circular motions on the face. I’ve been using it non-stop lately and my skin feels so much smoother. Plus it’s only $5 so you can’t argue with that.
Women’s Boho Floral Bow Headbands
Blame it on the fact that I’ve been watching gossip girl non-stop lately or the fact that I’m a huge girly girl, but when I found these on Amazon recently, I knew I had to order them.
These boho floral bow headbands are simply the cutest and I love how it adds the perfect hair accessory to any look! This set comes with 6 and is such a steal at less than $10! You can see me wearing one of them in this post over here.
Nickel & Suede Champagne Shimmer Leather Earrings
Last but not least on my spring beauty and fashion favorites are these adorable champagne shimmer leather earrings from Nickel and Suede and I’ve been wearing them like crazy lately. For years I’ve worn heavy earrings and I’m now at the point in my life that I like a lighter earring that’s super low maintenance.
These champagne ones are so pretty and versatile, but they also have tons of other colors and styles to choose from over here.
So there you have my Spring Beauty and Fashion Favorites! Are there any products I mentioned you’re loving at the moment? Anything out there you’d like me to try next? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by! – Cara
I’m obsessed with all the make up in this post. I love the sheer (but still bright) lip gloss and the blush palette has so many options with shine! LOVE!!! I’ve never seen a charcoal sponge – that’s intriguing! I just tried a charcoal mask that didn’t seem to do much for me, but maybe the sponge would be better for my skin!
The sponge is amazing for exfoliating the skin! I love using it with a facial scrub for even more exfoliating and it has really helped keep my skin looking healthy lately.
I am so keen on trying out that It cosmetics CC cream. I also want to try out the glowy version as well I’ve heard endless raves about it.

I’ve heard really good things about it too!
I really need to try the Physicans Formula Healty Lip Velvet Liquid LIpsticks.
Yes you do! There’s a huge shade selection to choose from too.
I keep meaning to grab the healthy lip stuff, I need to do it! I love that color. I am not a huge fan of IT CC Cream. It wont settle on my skin right. The strangest thing, but I know I am not the only one. Someone else has said that recently too. That mascara sounds fabulous! I will have to check it out. The end of the school year is always so crazy, hopefully you get some time to relax now.
Yes you do! Keep your eye out for Physicians Formula sales at CVS- they usually have them BOGO at least once a month + you can get the extra bucks. And another person said that about the CC cream. It just all depends on skin type I think. There’s been foundations out there that everyone has raved about before that I’ve tried and it looks like I’m putting mud on my face lol, so I totally understand.
The ItCosmetics CC cream has been my ride or die for years now! I just got my hands on the bye bye foundation bye them, though, and I think I might like it more!
I’ve been hearing that from so many people lately- I think I’ll try the bye bye foundation next.
Ohh the CC cream sounds amazing! Love Pamprin.
It has a great light-weight formula with full-coverage. 🙂
I love those headbands!!
They really are the cutest. I’ve been on a huge headband/headwrap kick lately.
The iT Cosmetics cc cream is my favorite! I love how light it is!
Me too! I also love the SPF 50 for protecting the skin.
I need that blush palette! I only have like 2 blushes and they are pretty much the same color. That CC cream is my favorite, especially in the summer!
I found mine at Ulta and it’s a great price! The colors are really pretty too and you can wear it as a light finish or build up the pigment.
You already know I need to try that CC Cream. Huge bonus points that it has SPF in it too <3
Green Fashionista
Yep- I’m all about those multi-purpose products nowadays. I think you’d LOVE it!
The IT CC+ is my all-time favorite beauty product ever!! I wear it every single day–year round. Also love Pamprin–seriously makes that time of the month sooo much better!
I’ve been wearing it every day lately too- you can’t beat the lightweight full-coverage formula. And what girl doesn’t love Pamprin?! 😉
The cleansing sponge looks so weird but intriguing. I have been loving the PF lipsticks.
Haha I agree with you- it’s so weird looking but it’s amazing for exfoliating.
Those headbands are so darn cute — I might have to purchase a couple. I haven’t used a konjac sponge in ages, they are so good though!
I feel like I had been living under a rock because I had never tried one, but now I’m hooked. And girl you totally need some of those headbands. 🙂
All about those head bands!
They’re too cute and I love using them for putting on makeup too. 🙂
The earrings are precious! And the velvet lip stuff is beautiful…likeYOU!
Aw thank-you! Happy Friday, gorgeous!
I need to pick up that $5 sponge especially since it’s charcoal!!! You can’t beat that price either! Also I adore the cc cream it’s just so amazing and has really great coverage! Love this post!
I think you’d love it! I love using it when I’m taking a bath/shower for exfoliating my face. And you can’t beat IT Cosmetics CC Cream! 🙂
I definitely need to try that charcoal face sponge! I was one of the few that never liked that CC cream, but maybe I should give it another try.
Even though it looks a little weird, it’s great for exfoliating. I tried a sample of the CC cream a long time ago and it wasn’t the right shade but once I found my shade it makes my skin look so seamless. But I totally get that not all foundations work for everyone and you gotta use what works! 🙂
Awesome picks for spring! I love those headbands. I’ve had a few similar to them and wore them until they fell apart. The konjac sponges are a new favorite of mine as well. I have two that are for sensitive skin that still do a decent job of exfoliating.
Thanks girl! I’m so glad to hear you love the konjac sponges too- this was the first time I had tried one and I’m officially hooked.
