Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighter Review + Swatches

For a long time now, blush and highlighter have been two of my favorite face products to really brighten up the face and add a beautiful glow.

Even better, long gone are the days where you have to spend $25+ to get a great blush or highlighter.

So when one of my favorite drugstore makeup brands recently combined both of those into one compact product, I was totally on board!

Today I’m sharing a full review and swatches of the new Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighters that just recently launched at the drugstore.

The wet n wild blushlighters are absolutely gorgeous and currently come in 3 beautiful blush + highlighter shades.

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighter Review

The Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighters are an affordable blush and highlighter duo made to enhance and brighten the skin’s complexion.

In terms of performance and feel, I find the wet n wild blushlighter duos to be very reminiscent of the traditional Wet n Wild Mega Glo Highlighters, which are one of my absolute favorites.

And just like the original wet n wild highlighters and wet n wild blush, the wet n wild hello halo blushlighters are absolutely stunning!

Wet n Wild Blushlighter Formula Details:

The pressed powder formula of these blushlighters are soft, buttery, and lightweight and contains ultra-reflective, micro-fine pearl pigments to give you that gorgeous, luminous, and radiant glow that everyone loves.

The blushes themselves also have a silky, buttery texture quite similar to Physician’s Formula Butter Blushes and are even very comparable to the high end Too Faced Natural Face Palette, but are considerably less expensive at just $4.99 each.

The wet n wild megaglo formula is easily buildable and I love that you have the option to use the colors by themselves or blended together for a beautiful layered look.

You can also apply the hello halo blushlighter lightly for a more simple, everyday look, or go full on bling with several layers if you want your skin to look extra glowy and luminous!

 

Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighter Shades + Swatches

Currently the Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighter is available in 3 different duo shades including Highlight Bling, Flash Me, and I Met Someone.

Below, I’ve included photos and a shade description of each, as well as side by side swatches of all three shades.

In my opinion, all three shades are absolutely beautiful and I think they’d look beautiful on a range of different skin tones.

I find the shades Flash Me and I Met Someone to be a bit more warm toned, while the shade Highlight Bling has a more “icy” cool-toned highlight to it, and is the most “sparkly” of the three.

Of the three shades, my favorite is probably I Met Someone, although I find myself using them all and I love mixing and matching the different shades.

Wet n Wild continues to blow me away at producing high quality, beautiful face products and these blushlighters are no exception to the mix.

I think the Wet n Wild Mega Glo Blushlighters are gorgeous, convenient, and at such a low price point, you could easily buy all three and still spend less than you would buying a high end blush and highlighter.

The silky texture allows for easy blending and the buildable formula offers versatility in creating different looks.

The small, compact size and hard-case packaging is great for traveling or keeping in your purse.
