5 Minute Makeup (No Foundation Makeup Tutorial)
Happy Monday, lovelies!
Thanks to 2020, most of us are no longer rocking a full face of glamourous makeup on the daily, and the newest makeup trend is the “no makeup” makeup look.
Like so many of you recently shared with me on Instagram, I’ve found myself wearing less full-face makeup looks over the past year and as a result my nightly skincare routine has been priority #1.
I’ve also really learned to embrace no foundation makeup looks that are quick and easy.
I love that it not only saves me time, but it’s also so much better for my skin to breathe.
So today, I want to share with you one of my favorite 5 Minute Makeup Looks in my Easy No Foundation Makeup Tutorial.
This natural makeup look is super simple to create and will you take you from looking tired to gorgeous and well rested in just 5 minutes time!
Today’s look is the first of several makeup looks I’ll be sharing in a new easy makeup series on my Youtube channel, so make sure to subscribe over here if you aren’t already.

5 Minute No Foundation Makeup Tips
Step 1: Wash, Moisturize, and Prime the Skin
If you’re not going to wear foundation, make sure you wash and/or exfoliate your face, moisturize, and use a hydrating/luminous primer.
I really love using the C’est Moi Milk It Shimmer Hydrafluid lately, as it adds such a pretty luminous glow to the skin that makes you look perfectly fresh-faced.
Step 2: Add Some Glow/Color
To really enhance the skin’s natural beauty, add some color to your cheeks and highlight the face to draw attention to your best features.
I absolutely love the wet n wild Blushlighters for adding the perfect touch of color and shimmer to the face. You can check out all the swatches/review over here.
For recommendations for mature skin, check out The 10 Best Blushes for Aging Skin.
I also recommend adding some highlight to the inner corner of the eyes, under the brow bone, on the tip of the nose, and right above the lip.
All these little touches of shimmer are really going to wake up the face by highlighting and enhancing your features.
Step 3: Wake Up The Eyes
If you really want to look more awake, refreshed, and put together, then you’ll definitely want to take a few minutes to focus on the eyes.
A few coats of mascara can seriously make all the difference in making you look more polished.
Essence Lash Princess is a dream come true if you still haven’t tried it.
Another easy eye-enhancing trick I love to use on no foundation makeup days is applying black, brown, or gray eyeliner along the outer part of my upper lash line, and then lightly smoking it out to create a thin winged look.
Winged eyeliner is a great way to naturally lift the eyes and it also adds a flirty, romantic touch to any makeup look.
I find using a soft eyeliner pencil like this one and an angled eyeliner brush are the easiest way to create a simple winged look, and after doing it a couple of times it will only take you seconds to create.
Step 4: Finish Off With Hydrated Lips
Nothing says pretty and put together like a gorgeous lip color, am I right?!
For a simple, everyday makeup look like this one, I recommend sticking with a neutral toned lipstick or lip balm that is within 3 shades of your natural lip color.
Nudes, natural pinks, or mauves, are all really great choices. (Check out my Best Nude Drugstore Lipsticks, if you need recommendations!)
Lately, I’ve been on a lip balm kick and the Physicians Formula Tinted Lip Treatments are THE BEST.
They’re creamy, hydrating, and last really well.
I’ve also been topping off all my lipsticks with my Grande Lips Lip Plumper (Get 15% Off with KINDLY15), and the shade “Sunbaked Sedona” is so pretty.
I just apply it to the center part of my lips to get the full plumping effect and it really does make my lips look fuller and super hydrated and glossy.
