In today’s post I’m sharing the absolute best of the best when it comes to drugstore makeup, and this roundup includes all the makeup that I used religiously in my collection this past year.

NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer – Hands down the BEST hydrating/dewy finish primer at the drugstore. This one is a total must-have if you have dry skin or if you want to make your skin look glowy/dewy. I even wear this on no foundation days because it looks so pretty.

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Foundation
Maybelline Fit Me Dewy + Smooth Foundation – Speaking of dewy skin, this foundation from Maybelline is amazing! It gives you a beautiful, dewy, medium coverage finish and even has sunscreen in it to protect your skin.
I personally love how this foundation does an awesome job of evening out my skin tone, while still letting my natural skin shine through. P.S. The Matte & Poreless version is also amazing, if you prefer that finish instead.

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Under Eye Brightener
Essence High Beauty Under Eye Brightening Concealer – These under eye brighteners are a newer product, but lemme tell ya, they are AWESOME! I apply this concealer to my undereye area after applying foundation (before full-coverage concealer) and it instantly brightens up my face, helps color correct darkness, and makes me look wide awake and refreshed.
I also like to use them on days where I don’t wear foundation to just brighten things up, and it works beautifully.
2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Concealer
e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer – This past year I set out to find a replacement for Shape Tape (after we had to break up) and this concealer took the cake! I was so pleasantly shocked that this $6 concealer ended up being even better than more expensive, high end concealers, and the finish of this one is perfect for my dry skin type.
It has amazing coverage, cancels out darkness, and doesn’t crease or settle into fine lines. P.S. If you found the regular e.l.f. camo concealer to be too drying, give this one a try because it’s awesome and not drying at all!

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Setting Powder
Physicians Formula Natural Defense Set Me Up Setting Powder – I have the hardest time finding a setting powder that doesn’t make my skin look dry, but thankfully Physicians Formula did not disappoint with this awesome setting powder.
It’s lightweight, has the most amazing velvety-soft texture that blends out like a dream, and even has broad spectrum SPF 20 in it! It also has similar packaging to my ride or die butter bronzer and smells awesome!

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Blush
Physicians Formula Organic Wear Dewy Blush Elixir – Another Physicians Formula favorite of the year was their gorgeous dewy cream blush elixirs. I’ve honestly never been a big fan/user of cream blushes, but this product made me change my mind.
The past few years I’ve really been trying to find more natural makeup products, and these blushes gives your skin that hydrated, dewy, “naturally flushed” look that is just so pretty. I find myself alternating frequently between both shades including Gorgeous Peach and Pink Berry. Definitely give these a try if you haven’t already!

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Highlighter
wet n wild MegaGlo Blushlighter – These blushlighters are also a newer product, but from the moment I tried them I knew it was love! I’ve always been a huge fan of wet n wild highlighters and this product does not disappoint.
The shades are absolutely stunning and it gives your skin the most beautiful glow and shimmer. It’s also so easy to blend out on the skin and very lightweight and silky.

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Eyeshadow Palette
BH Cosmetics Hangin’ in Hawaii Eyeshadow Palette – I know I’ve mentioned this amazing eyeshadow palette at least 100 times or more by now, but it just can’t be beat in my opinion! If you’re looking for an affordable eyeshadow palette that has amazing pigmentation, and a beautiful range of neutral, warm shades, then look no further.
I seriously use it/wear it all the time, and it’s always the palette I choose to take with me whenever I travel. You can check out my full review with swatches over here.
2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Liquid Eyeshadow
Pixi Liquid Fairy Lights Glitter Eyeshadow – If you haven’t yet tried out these liquid glitter eyeshadows, treat yourself and I promise you won’t be disappointed! They are absolutely stunning, come in several beautiful shades, and are even better than the Stila Glitter Eyeshadows which are almost $10 more.
I love adding these glitter liquid eyeshadows to my eyelid anytime I want a sparkly, gorgeous eye makeup look, and always receive so many compliments. I even found this super affordable duo pack at Ulta for just $12, which is like getting them for $6 each!
2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Brow Pencil
e.l.f. Ultra Precise Brow Pencil – If you’re looking for a great brow pencil that won’t break the bank and will give you natural-looking eyebrows, look no further! I actually love this brow pencil even better than the ABH brow whiz and it’s only $5!
The tip is the perfect size for creating life-like brow hairs and the taupe shade matches my blonde hair perfectly.

2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Mascara
Essence Lash Princess Mascaras – You’ve already heard me talk about these mascaras in my 6 Best Drugstore Mascaras for Lengthening Lashes, but honestly I can’t sing the praises of these mascaras enough. Both the sculpted volume and false lash mascara are amazing and you can’t go wrong with either one!
It’s truly unreal to me that a $5 mascara can be SO amazing, but they really are the best of the best!
2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Lip Butter
Burt’s Bees Lip Butters – These lip butters are total lifesavers when it comes to dry, cracked lips. I keep a tin beside my bed and apply these every night before going to sleep, and will apply a couple of times daily during the cold, winter months.

Physicians Formula Tinted Lip Treatments – When it comes to a great everyday lip color, I absolutely adore these tinted lip treats from PF. They’re almost like a cross between a lipstick and chapstick, and look and feel so nice on the lips. The shea butter and vitamin E formula is so hydrating and creamy, and you can’t go wrong with any of the 5 shades.

wet n wild Megalast Lip Color Lipsticks – wet n wild blew me out of the water with their 2020 launch of this amazing lipstick collection, and to date – I’ve worn these lipsticks more than any other collection I’ve ever tried/own. 2020 Best Drugstore Makeup Liquid Lipstick
Essence Stay 8 Hour Matte Liquid Lipsticks – In the year where we all had to wear masks out, this was my go-to lipstick! These liquid lipsticks come in a range of beautiful shades and stay put seriously all day. They’re also not drying and easily pair with a lip gloss, if you want to add a glossy finish.
I’m wearing one of my absolute favorite shades “date-proof” in today’s post, which is such a beautiful mauve/berry shade. I also featured the nude shade “duck face” in my Best Fall Lipsticks roundup.
