Hey lovelies! Today I’m very excited to be sharing a full review of the new wet n wild MegaLast Lip Color collection. As you all know, I’m a HUGE wet n wild beauty fan and their amazing drugstore lipsticks have been one of my favorites for years and years.
I was of course super thrilled to get my hands on this beautiful lipstick collection available at Target and wetnwildbeauty.com which features 26 gorgeous shades in both high-shine and matte finishes, and tested out the whole line for you all!
In today’s post I’m sharing a full review of the entire collection and sharing lip swatches of all 26 shades. Packaging – First off let’s talk packaging. I mean – how adorable are these wet n wild lipsticks?! The white and black packaging looks so chic and clean, and I’m literally obsessed with the little rose gold lip detail on them. SO stinking cute!
I also love the clear tops so that I can see what color I’m getting and these are definitely lipsticks you want to keep on display on your makeup vanity. The compact size is also perfect for throwing in your purse and traveling with.
Shade Range – The wet n wild MegaLast Lip Color collection has 26 beautiful lipstick shades with 13 high-shine formula lipsticks and 13 matte lipsticks. I will say in terms of a great shade range, this lipstick collection absolutely killed it!
There are a ton of neutral shades like nude, pink, and mauve that are perfect for wearing everyday, and also more bright, fun shades like coral, berry, and red that are great for wearing when you want to dress up for a party, special occasion, or date night. I also love that so many of the lipstick shades in this collection are universally flattering for all skin tones.
Pigmentation/Performance – The wet n wild MegaLast Lip Colors are long-lasting and made with nourishing, lip-loving ingredients including Hyaluronic Acid, Natural Marine Plant Extracts, Coenzyme Q10, Vitamins A & E, Murumuru Seed Butter, Argan Oil, Sunflower, and Passionfruit Seed Oils. The formula is long-wearing and has a creamy, velvet, lightweight texture for easy application.
In terms of performance, the wet n wild MegaLast Lip Colors are hands-down one of my new favorite drugstore lipsticks – they’re SO good. I found the high shine lipstick formula to be very similar to the PF butter glosses (which I LOVE), and the mattes are super creamy and pigmented.
As I tend to gravitate to more of a glossy lipstick, I think the high shine lipsticks are my favorite of the two formulas, but the mattes are amazing as well. These lipsticks are super pigmented and really give you that bright and bold finish like you want from a lipstick. They’re also true to their long-lasting claim and I found them to last really well even with eating and drinking.
