You’ve probably seen me wearing these gorgeous lip balms on Instagram, so today I thought it was high time I did a full review with all the Physicians Formula Lip Butter swatches.
I’ve been using the Physicians Formula Butter Lip Creams since early spring, and they’ve quickly grown to be one of my favorite lip products.
The Physicians Formula Lip Butters are gorgeous, easy to apply, and feel so nice and buttery soft on the lips.
Plus all the shades are so bright and pretty – perfect for wearing in the Spring and Summer months.

The Physicians Formula Murumuru Butter Lip Creams have a unique formula that is different from any lip product I’ve ever tried.
They’re basically like a moisturizing lip balm or chapstick, but unlike regular lip balms which are typically sheer, the color payoff in these lip creams is amazing, making them more like Physicians Formula Butter Lipstick.

As you can see in the photos every single shade in the Physicians Formula butter lip cream collection is SO pretty!
My personal favorites include Pinkini, Guava Mama, Samba Red, and Mauvin to Brazil but they’re all so beautiful, you really can’t go wrong with any of the colors.

Physicians Formula Butter Lip Creams Review – Overall Thoughts
I’ve been using the Physicians Formula Lip Butters for several months now and I honestly love them.
What I Love:
The creamy, nourishing texture feels awesome on the lips, and the variety of colors in this collection is really nice.
I love that there are plenty of nudes, pinks, reds, and berry shades to choose from that would look beautiful on all skin tones, and the gloss-like finish almost gives your lips a plumping effect, which is nice.
My Only Complaint:
That said, my one and only minor complaint about these products has to do with the packaging.
While I love the small size of these lip creams, perfect for sticking in a makeup bag or purse for on-the-go, the twistable packaging is unfortunately one-way.
Meaning, if you twist it up really far, the lip product will likely get squished in the cap and could potentially make a royal mess if you’re not careful.
Not a huge deal for most people who are just twisting up product as needed, but something worth noting.
Would I Recommend?
Overall, YES I would still definitely recommend these — especially if you like more of a creamy lipstick/lip balm finish.
These are so easy to throw on the lips and go and they add such a beautiful pop of color perfect for Spring and Summer.

Okay, I wish I would’ve seen this before I went to Target the other day because so many of these colors are calling to me!
