Happy Friday everyone! With February being the month of love, I’m excited to be teaming up with Physicians Formula today in sharing one of my go-to romantic makeup looks for date night and special occasions. (It would also work perfectly for this Valentine’s Day weekend!)
Today I’m sharing a soft and romantic makeup tutorial that’s both super gorgeous and super easy to create. This makeup look focuses on enhancing your natural beauty with a soft eyeshadow look, flirty lashes, and a fresh pop of color on the lips and cheeks.
Even better this makeup look only takes 10 minutes to create and uses all drugstore makeup products, including some amazing new makeup launches from Physicians Formula that you’ll definitely want to get your hands on ASAP.

Before diving into today’s soft and romantic makeup tutorial, I first wanted to share a sneak peek at some of the new makeup releases and product expansions from Physicians Formula. Physicians Formula has been absolutely killing it lately with releasing new makeup and skincare products and expanding/revamping some of their current collections and formulas.
In case you hadn’t heard, they just expanded their amazing Butter Bronzer Collection to now include 8 shades! Some of the new shades they added include a sculpting bronzer (perfect for contouring) and endless summer which is perfect for that summer-time glow.
They also added three new Butter Blushes including Copper Cabana, Saucy Mauve, and Beachy Peach- which are just as gorgeous as they sound!

In terms of brand new products, they recently released two Butter Eyeshadow Palettes, featuring the same amazing butter blend formula as their face products. The two palettes are Tropical Days and Sultry Nights and each feature 12 eyeshadow shades in a range of matte, cream, and shimmer finishes.
As you can see in the photos below, the colors are gorgeous and there’s a mix of both neutral and colorful shades.
Another new product launch that I’m absolutely ecstatic about are the brand new Butter Lip Creams. As Physicians Formula’s Healthy Liquid Lipsticks are one of my absolute favorites, I knew right away that I was going to love these lip creams and I’m happy to report they did not disappoint.
The Butter Lip Cream Collection features 12 gorgeous shades and feature a creamy, pigmented formula that provides both color and nourishment to the lips. They honestly just feel good on the lips and I love the glossy finish that gives the appearance of fuller lips.
Here’s a look at a few of my favorite shades from the bunch, and definitely stay tuned for a full review with swatches of both the Butter Eyeshadow Palettes and Butter Lip Cream collection in the coming weeks.
Soft and Romantic Makeup Tutorial
Now that I’ve shared some of the products I’ll be using to create today’s makeup look, let’s dive right into this soft and romantic makeup tutorial! For this makeup look, it’s all about enhancing your natural beauty with soft makeup touches.
First up for the eyes, I used the Butter Eyeshadow Palette in Sultry Nights and began by applying the top left cream shade all over the lid for a nice, neutral base. Next, going in with this firm blending brush, I applied the deep brown shade on the outer corner of the eyes and gently blended it inward toward the crease area, stopping at the mid-point of the eye. Using a diffused crease brush, I applied a small amount of the copper shade in the crease and blended back and forth in a sweeping motion until softened.
Lastly using my fingers, I applied the cream shimmer shade to the eyelid and the inner rim of the eye. Next I added eyeliner to the lid to create a soft winged liner. Using the brown satin liner from the new Eye Boost Gel Eyeliner Trio, I went back over it a couple of times to create a thicker line that would really give it an even softer makeup look. Finally I applied a coat of the Lash Mixologist 3-in-1 Mascara and added my favorite falsies for a flirty look.

For a gorgeous, bright complexion I applied the Healthy Foundation all over the face using a damp foundation sponge and applied this brightening concealer under the eyes. Next, using the new Endless Summer Butter Bronzer, I lightly contoured my cheeks, nose, and forehead temples.
To finish this soft and romantic makeup look off, I added some color to the cheeks using the Rosy Pink Butter Blush and applied the new Pinkini Butter Lip Cream to the lips. Is that not the most pretty, natural-looking pink you’ve ever seen? I’m obsessed!
