While I’m normally the queen of sharing all things affordable beauty and drugstore makeup recommendations, sometimes there are beauty products that are totally worth splurging on. 8 Splurge-Worthy Beauty Products

Kate Somerville High Performance Smooth + Firm Serum

This serum is seriously magic in a bottle, and although it is a total splurge for me, it’s worth every penny! I originally received it in my monthly Boxycharm, but after I ran out I HAD to repurchase – it’s that good.

Not only is it great for hydrating my dry skin, but it also helps brighten, smooth, firm, and tighten the skin. I’ve personally noticed a huge improvement with my skin’s texture and with my fine lines. I apply one dropper of this to my skin every night before bed and it’s quickly became my ride or die skincare product.

Colleen Rothschild Quench & Shine Restorative Mask

I  first shared this hair mask in my post last year on Beauty Must-Haves for Busy Moms and I’ve used it religiously ever since. If your hair tends to look dry or worn out from using heat tools, then do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this wonderful hair mask.

I actually just re-purchased a second bottle and it makes all the difference in making my hair look and feel smooth, shiny, and silky. Also, it smells amazing!

Beachwaver Pro 1 Curling Iron

Years ago, I splurged on this amazing curling iron and ever since I refuse to use regular and/or cheap curling irons. This magical curling iron does all the hard work for you, and with a click of the button it spins your hair around the wand and creates the most beautiful beachy looking waves and curls.

I love how it makes my hair look and it also significantly cuts down the amount of time it takes you to curl your hair. It’s currently out of stock on their website and at Ulta, but I found it at Walmart over here

Savings Tip: Watch for sales during the Black Friday season!

GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum (Get 15% Off with KINDLY15)

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST lash serum! If you’re more a visual person, check out my before + after results over here with my amazing lash transformation.

I literally recommend this lash serum to every person I know and since I started using it, I have the most LONG, THICK, gorgeous looking lashes ever.

Forget falsies and lash extensions and buy this lash serum instead. (Save 15% with KINDLY15)

Michael Todd Beauty SonicSmooth Dermaplaning System (Get 20% off with CARA20)

I shared this amazing skincare gem in my post on The 5 Benefits of Dermaplaning and I use it weekly in my routine.

If you want baby soft, smooth skin then you’ll definitely want to check this out, and it’s well worth every penny!

The affordable $1-$2 razors work fine if you’re on a budget, but I noticed a dramatic difference in how close of a shave I was getting once I switched to this dermaplaning system, and it removes all the dead, dry skin away – which makes my foundation look amazing.  (Save 20% with CARA20)

Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler

You might be asking yourself why I included an eyelash curler on this list of beauty splurges, and although it’s not nearly as expensive as everything else on this list, it’s still a splurge compared to your typical $5.99 lash curler at the drugstore.

That said, if your current eyelash curler doesn’t fully get the job done (like so many ones on the market) give this one a try! The curved shape helps perfectly curl ALL your lashes and your lashes will hold all day. I’ll never go back to a cheap eyelash curler again, and I’m so glad I splurged on this.

Drunk Elephant Under Eye Cream

If you want an under eye cream that does it all, then this is the eye cream for you! It has 8 different peptides, Vitamin C, and cucumber extract that helps hydrate, brighten, and firm the under eye area. The formula is thick and creamy, without being heavy on the skin, and it’s a miracle worker if your under-eyes get super dry.

I’ve tried quite a few eye creams over the past few years and this is the one I always keep coming back to, because it actually does what it says. It also lasts for a pretty long time, because you only need to apply a tiny dot nightly.

Dr. Brandt Recovery Sleeping Mask

Last but not least is another 5-Star Skincare Must-Have that I’ve been using on repeat for the past several months. As I’ve mentioned before, my dry skin tends to always need extra hydration – especially during the harsher seasons like summer and winter, so I always like to combine hydrating products during those months.

Thank heavens I discovered this recovery sleeping mask through BoxyCharm and now I can’t live without it! It hydrates, soothes, and nourishes the skin and every time I use it my skin always feels insanely soft and refreshed the next morning. I apply it right before bedtime, after applying my serum and eye cream, and it’s a miracle worker!

I see so many ads for that lash serum it kind of makes me feel like it’s a gimmick, so I’m glad to hear a down-to-earth review that this stuff is the real deal. I’ve been thinking about getting a heated lash curler from the drugstore, but now you have given me a splurge to consider.

I know what you mean- I’m always leary of products I see on my Facebook ads but this one is honestly working amazing. I can tell a huge difference in the length and volume and I’m only half way through the process and still have 6 more weeks to go.

I need to try that hair mask. That isn’t too much of a splurge compared to some out there. I have heard great things about that brand too. I love Kate Somerville, I haven’t tried that serum. And Drunk Elephant Baby Facial is my absolute favorite skin changer. I am in the market for a new eye cream, so I will have to try that one you mentioned. My under eye area is so so so so dry and awful. So many products make it worse.

Everything I’ve tried from Colleen Rothschild has been great! And all her products always smell amazing too. And yes, I’d definitely recommend the eye cream if you have dry skin. I’ve tried a lot of eye creams that leave a filmy residue underneath that looks awful when you apply foundation and this one doesn’t do that at all. It actually absorbs in the skin and hydrates it. Sometimes you can find it in a travel size set on Amazon, so you could always try it first without spending the full price.
