BH Cosmetics Love in London Palette Review & Swatches

Happy Friday, loves! The last time I shared a review of BH Cosmetics, was when I introduced you to the AH-MAZING Hangin in Hawaii Eyeshadow Palette that seriously everyone needs in their makeup collection. You can check out the full review of it over here, but basically it became my favorite drugstore eyeshadow palette last year and I still continuously use that palette weekly – it’s SO good. The warm shades are simply gorgeous and the pigmentation is awesome.

Today I’m excited to be sharing a full review and swatches of it’s cool-toned sister palette – the BH Cosmetics Love in London Palette. It features 16 beautiful, city-chic, cool-toned shades to create gorgeous everyday and smokey eye looks, and is super affordable at less than $20!

BH Cosmetics Love in London Palette Review

The BH Cosmetics Love in London Palette features 16 gorgeous eyeshadows with 7 beautiful velvet matte shadows and 9 shimmer shadows. From rich neutrals to gleaming metallic shades, this eyeshadow palette is a show-stopper just like the Hangin’ in Hawaii one, and I have a feeling I’ll be reaching for this one a lot when I want to do a smokey eye look.

I love that they’ve included several neutral tones perfect for using as transition shades in addition to deeper tones perfect for creating dramatic eye makeup looks. I’m personally a huge fan of cool-toned eyeshadows and love using purples, silver, blues, and browns in my eye makeup creations.

The packaging is also really nice and sturdy and includes a full sized mirror, perfect for getting ready on the go. It’s also priced very affordable at $16, which is an amazing price for a full size drugstore eyeshadow palette!

In terms of performance, these shadows are the same formula as the Hangin’ in Hawaii Palette with a buttery velvet soft texture that glides easily on the skin. The mattes were well pigmented, very easy to work with, and blended out nicely. The shimmers are also super vibrant providing that beautiful pop of shimmer that looks beautiful on the lid.

All in all, this palette is super pretty and another win for BH Cosmetics. It really all comes down to eyeshadow color preferences, if you love cool tones, grab the Love in London Palette, if you love warm tones, grab the Hangin in Hawaii Palette. Or if you’re like me and love both, there’s always that option too! 😉

How fun are all the shade names in this eyeshadow palette?! The mattes are so pigmented and velvet-soft, and the shimmers are total show-stoppers. I honestly can’t pick a favorite shade- they’re all beautiful!
