Happy Wednesday lovelies! If you caught my Instagram stories a few weeks back, I tried out and swatched several shades from the Karity Lip Lock Liquid Lipstick collection that was sent to me, and to say I’m in love would be an understatement. (In case you missed it, you can watch it here.)
It’s no secret that I love a good liquid lipstick, but I’m pretty picky when it comes to finding one that I completely love. So many liquid lipsticks can be overly drying on the lips, have a lot of transfer, or have an un-even finish, but not these liquid lipsticks from Karity.
In case Karity is new to you, today I’m sharing a full review of the Lip Lock Liquid Lipsticks and sharing gorgeous swatches of every shade.

For several months I kept seeing all these gorgeous lipstick and eyeshadow palette ads pop up in my Instagram and Facebook feed. You’ve probably seen them too- they’re usually swatches of the most stunning colors you’ve ever laid your eyes on.
Upon further inspection, I discovered that company was Karity and immediately fell in love with all the products on their website. I also loved that they were an affordable makeup brand offering high-quality products with budget friendly prices.
But before I go head over heels with any makeup brand, I of course have to test out their makeup products to see if they really live up to their promises. That’s why today I’m sharing my full thoughts and honest review on the lip lock liquid lipsticks from Karity.

Karity Liquid Lipstick Review
The Karity Long-Lasting Lip Lock Liquid Lipsticks claim to have a pizza-proof velvet matte finish that lasts all day. The lipsticks are cruelty free, vegan, paraben free, and come in 16 gorgeous colors.
Sidenote: They also have a really cool Palettes for Paws campaign where they donate a meal to an animal in need for every palette purchased. How cool is that?
Packaging
First things first, can we talk about how gorgeous the Karity Lip Lock packaging is? I was immediately drawn to the clear packaging with black detailing and these are the kind of lipsticks you’d want to have on display in your makeup collection.
On the one side, the brand name “Karity” is shown while the other side shows the product name “Lip Lock”. The shade names are also listed on the bottom of each lipstick.
Long Lasting Formula
Onto the formula, I was really worried that shades this vibrant would have an uneven formula or a super drying formula. I’m happy to report that I didn’t run into either of those issues with these lipsticks and I was overall very impressed.
The formula is quite wet upon first application to the lips, but within 30 seconds to a minute dries down to a pretty, velvet matte finish. I definitely prefer velvet matte finishes over straight up matte finishes, because they’re less drying and the formula itself is usually easier to work with.
All of the shades were quite pigmented, but I will say that I did have to build two of the shades up with a couple of coats, including the shades Keira and Soho.
Oh and the pizza-proof claim? Totally legit. I’ve worn these several times now and haven’t had any transfer from drinking/eating, and you definitely don’t have to reapply throughout the day.

As promised, here’s the lip swatches of each gorgeous shade from the Lip Lock Staff Favorites collection! I honestly love all the shades, but if I had to pick favorites it’d be Sugary Sweet, Fade Out, and Candied.
