How to Make Easy Philly Cheesesteak Pasta Skillet
Using a chef’s knife, first de-seed and thinly slice 2 green bell peppers and 1 small/medium white onion.
The beef steak is conveniently pre-cut/sliced, which saves me a ton of prep time!
Next, heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium heat.
Once fully heated, add in beef steak, onions, and bell peppers and cook for 5 minutes until the veggies start to soften and the beef gets some color to it.
Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir until evenly combined.
Next add in Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and pasta noodles and stir so that all the noodles are evenly coated with the beef broth. Let the mixture come to a boil, then cover and reduce the heat to a low/medium simmer.
Let simmer for 7 minutes covered, stir, and then re-cover and simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the pasta noodles are tender.
Make sure you check it periodically so that you don’t overcook your noodles.
Remove from heat, add in 1 cup of freshly provolone or mozzarella cheese, and stir until evenly combined.
Top with 1/2 cup more of provolone or mozzarella cheese and garnish with a sprinkle of fresh or dried parsley, if desired.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
