Decadent and Delicious S’mores in a Jar

Good Monday Morning, ya’ll! Today I’m sharing with you guys one of the BEST summer desserts you can treat yourself to!- S’mores in a Jar. Let’s be real for a minute, and talk about S’mores. We all love them, they’re delicious, and I always think of this hilarious scene in Sandlot every time I eat one. Buuut they’re a tad messy for those of us who have kids. And by tad I mean, every time we make them chocolate somehow ends up all over their hands, marshmallows embedded in their hair, and their clothes have to go straight in the wash.

So enter S’mores in a Jar. It’s a mess-free, eat-with-a-spoon dessert that keeps both mamas and kiddos happy! Plus it still has all the original, delicious flavors of a regular S’mores. These tasty treats are perfect for Summer BBQ’s and entertaining with friends and family, and are super easy to put together. Plus they’d even make great gifts!

Looking for the an easy, no-bake summer time treat? Try this decadent and delicious s'mores in a jar dessert that's layered with chocolate pudding, marshmallow cream, and teddy grahams. The adorable mason jars also make it the perfect gift!

These adorable mason jars contain delicious layers of chocolate fudge pudding and crushed up chocolate chip teddy grahams that’s the perfect combination. Next comes my favorite layer- an ooey gooey marshmallow cream and whipped cream mixture. Lastly, it is topped off with toasted marshmallows, crushed graham crackers, and bite size pieces of Hershey’s chocolate. I mean is there anything better?

S’mores in a Jar

Looking for the an easy, no-bake summer time treat? Try this decadent and delicious s’mores in a jar dessert that’s layered with chocolate pudding, marshmallow cream, and teddy grahams. The adorable mason jars also make it the perfect gift!

  • Author: Cara Owens

  • Cook Time: 5
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x
  • Category: Dessert
  • Method: No Bake
  • Cuisine: American

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 small canning jars
  • 1 (1.4 oz) package of instant Milk Fudge Chocolate pudding, prepared
  • 1 ½ cups crushed Chocolate Chip Teddy Grahams
  • 1 container Marshmallow Fluff
  • 1 8 oz container frozen whipped topping
  • 1 Hershey’s Chocolate Bar, chopped into small bits
  • ½ cup of miniature marshmallows, toasted for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the instant chocolate pudding according to package directions and chill while prepping other ingredients.
  2. In a glass bowl, combine the whipped topping and marshmallow fluff. The consistency will be slightly lumpy, which is fine.
  3. Crush up teddy grahams to desired consistency and finely chop up the Hershey’s bar into small bits. Set aside.
  4. Once all the ingredients have been prepped begin filling the jars by adding a ½ inch layer of graham cracker mixture.
  5. Next add a layer of chocolate pudding, followed by the marshmallow topping layer.
  6. Repeat the layers until reaching the top of the jar.
  7. Garnish top with graham cracker crumbs, pieces of Hershey’s chocolate, and toasted miniature marshmallows.

Notes

To toast the marshmallows, lightly spray cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray and spread thin layer of mini marshmallows. Turn on oven broiler and pop in for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Keep a careful eye on the marshmallows to avoid burning them. Once the broiler gets going it only takes a few seconds for the marshmallows to toast to perfection. Remove from oven and let cool before adding them to the top of the jars.
