Easy Galaxy Makeup Tutorial for Halloween
I know I’ve probably said this a hundred times before, but I’m seriously obsessed with how this galaxy makeup turned out! I just feel so pretty wearing this galaxy makeup look, and I’m not gonna lie, if I could wear shades of pink, purple, and blue, and stars all over my face everyday I totally would- wouldn’t you?!
Even my husband who’s normally all ba-humbug when it comes to most of my Halloween makeup looks absolutely loved this galaxy makeup and told me I looked like an avatar princess. I’ll take that as a compliment! 😉
How Do You Do Galaxy Makeup?
This galaxy makeup is one of those Halloween makeup looks that will have everyone thinking you spent hours creating it, but in reality it’s super simple to create and all you need are everyday makeup products.
Unlike most Halloween tutorials, this galaxy makeup doesn’t require face paint and in fact, all you really need is a good matte eyeshadow palette with some fun “cosmic” colors like pink, purple, and blue.
And don’t let the stars fool you, they’re actually just t’s and dots and are easy peasy to add to the face with an angled eyeliner brush. I topped everything off with a touch of shimmer to give it that pretty, cosmic look and this space galaxy makeup look is perfection!

Mini Life Update: I took an unintended break last week after losing power/water for 5 days from Hurricane Michael and then spent a good part of the week traveling out of state for an amazing blog business trip.
Our family is thankfully all doing well and all the damage that we sustained on our home is going to be covered by our insurance. Thanks to everyone who checked in on us during the storm- I really appreciate it!
That said, everything that happened unfortunately put me a little bit behind schedule with getting out Halloween makeup tutorials and other blog content, but I’m rolling with the punches and aiming to have at least 1, maybe 2 more tutorials for you this Halloween season!
This is my favorite time of year and although I’m a bit disappointed I haven’t been able to do everything I wanted to accomplish, I know that life happens sometimes and all you can do is try your best. Thanks to all of you for your continued love and support! 🙂
What do you think of my galaxy makeup look? Are you as obsessed with all the pretty colors too? Let me know in the comments, and if you end up creating this galaxy makeup look for Halloween be sure and tag me in your photos using @cara_kindlyunspoken.
