Life Lately in Photos- Fall 2018

Life Lately in Photos – Fall 2018

Hey everyone! I hope each of you had an awesome Thanksgiving holiday with your families and friends! Today I’m sharing a little life update full of lots of photos with what’s been going on in my world lately.

My parents dropped in for a visit last week and although I did unfortunately still have to work while they were here, it was great to see them and spend a few days together. We ended up going bowling and heading to the park while they were here, and the boys of course loved having their grandparents around for a few days.

We are already excited to be planning a trip to Virginia to see them at the end of December. I’ll also be taking my annual two-week break from the blog at that time and honestly I can’t wait!

This has been the busiest season of my life lately and although I feel very blessed and thankful for all the opportunities, I’m looking forward to some real relaxation and unwinding at the end of this year. It will be great to recharge and get ready to come back at it strong in 2019.

Life Lately in Photos – Fall 2018

This year as a whole has been a rollercoaster and at times has been very trying for our family, but we always try to make the best of it even when things are hard.

When our area got struck by Hurricane Michael, we lost power, water, and internet for several days, but if there was a silver lining I ended up getting to spend a lot of amazing, quality time with my family and my sweet boys reminded me that life is definitely what you make of it.

Here’s a photo of one of the giant trees in our yard that got knocked down by the storm. The boys were such great helpers in helping us pick up tree limbs and debris afterwards.

But even a Hurricane couldn’t keep our Halloween spirit away and we had so much fun crafting, decorating pumpkins, making mummy and spider cupcakes, and of course dressing up for Halloween.

I was kind of obsessed with my pink lips pumpkin! 🙂

We also took a trip to the Georgia National Fair about an hour away from where we live, and had an absolute blast! It had been awhile since I had been to the fair, and the boys loved getting to ride all the carnival rides.

Of course no fall season is complete without fun trips to the park, dress up days, and breakfast dates with my boys.

Even on my busiest days, I’m constantly reminded that my greatest gift in this life is being a wife and a mom to my two boys. My boys seriously bring me so much joy and above all I want to spend as much time with them as I can while they’re still little.
